The study aimed to compare the real dimensions of 0.019” × 0.025” superelastic archwires marketed by three brands in Lima during 2026. The research followed a quantitative approach, a hypothetico-deductive method, an applied type, and a nonexperimental, cross-sectional, in vitro, comparative design. The accessible population consisted of 30 nickel-titanium superelastic archwires sized 0.019” × 0.025” from brands A, B, and C, available from authorized distributors in Lima. The sample included 18 archwires, distributed into three groups of 6 specimens per brand, selected through non-probability convenience sampling. The real dimensions were measured in inches and recorded on a data collection form; afterward, the information was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that brand A had a mean height of 0.01871” and a mean depth of 0.02461”; brand B obtained 0.01838” and 0.02419”, respectively; while brand C recorded a height of 0.01899” and a depth of 0.02503”. The Shapiro-Wilk test showed normal distribution in all groups; therefore, one-way ANOVA was applied. Statistically significant differences were found among brands in both real height, F(2,15)=166.124; p<.001, and real depth, F(2,15)=263.144; p<.001. It was concluded that brand C showed the highest dimensional accuracy, followed by brand A, whereas brand B presented the greatest discrepancy from the declared nominal caliber. These findings provided useful evidence for selecting archwires with greater clinical predictability in orthodontic practice.
