This research aims to analyze the relationship between emotional dependence and depression in adult female users of the San Pedro de Lurín Community Mental Health Center, Lima, in the year 2026. A quantitative approach with a hypothetical-deductive method will be adopted, of applied type, using a non-experimental design with correlational scope and cross-sectional cut. The population will be census-based, composed of 80 women aged 18 to 50 years receiving care at this mental health facility. Data will be collected using the survey technique, applying two structured Likert-type questionnaires: the first will assess emotional dependence in its affective, cognitive, behavioral, and relational dimensions; the second will measure depression levels through the dimensions of anergia, discommunication, and rhythmopathy. Both instruments will be validated through expert judgment, and their reliability will be verified using a pilot test with Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The obtained information will be recorded in Microsoft Excel and processed with SPSS version 27. Descriptive analysis will be performed using frequencies, percentages, and distribution tables, and inferential analysis will be conducted applying Spearman's Rho coefficient, considering a significance level of p < 0.05.
