Resumen
El estudio tiene como objetivo “evaluar cómo los factores que afectan el soporte nutricional farmacológico se relacionan con el estado nutricional de los pacientes con cirrosis hepática en el Hospital Regional de Huacho, Lima, en 2024”. Se utilizó un diseño no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional, recopilando datos a través de fichas de cotejo revisadas en historias clínicas, y se realizó un análisis estadístico descriptivo e inferencial con SPSS versión 27. La muestra incluyó 100 historias clínicas de adultos atendidos entre enero de 2024 y enero de 2025, seleccionadas mediante muestreo intencional, excluyendo aquellas con información incompleta o pacientes que consumen alcohol activamente. Los resultados iniciales indican que hay un equilibrio en el sexo de los pacientes, con un 55% masculino y un 45% femenino. La investigación también exploró factores como el estado nutricional, el cumplimiento de la alimentación y el tratamiento, interactúan y afectan la salud y el bienestar de los pacientes. En conclusión, el estudio ha demostrado que identificar y manejar factores como la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico, el conocimiento dietético y el soporte nutricional farmacológico puede optimizar la atención, reducir complicaciones que afectan la vida de los pacientes.
Resumen
The study is focused on exploring how various factors influence pharmacological nutritional support and the nutritional status of patients with liver cirrhosis at the Huacho Regional Hospital in Lima, in 2024. It employs a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational design, gathering data through comparison sheets that were reviewed in medical records. The analysis was carried out using both descriptive and inferential statistics with SPSS version 27. The sample included 100 medical records of adults who received treatment between January 2024 and January 2025, selected through intentional sampling, while excluding those with incomplete information or patients who actively consume alcohol. The initial findings indicate a balanced gender distribution among the patients, with 55% being male and 45% female. The research also examined factors like nutritional status, Adherence to diet and treatment interact and affect the health and well-being of patients. In conclusion, the study highlights that recognizing and managing factors such as adherence to medication, dietary knowledge, and nutritional support can enhance care, minimizing complications that affect patients' lives.
