The general objective of the present study was: To determine the relationship between stress coping strategies in parents of preterm infants and nursing care in the Neonatology Unit of the Pasco Hospital, 2023. Materials and Methods: Research of quantitative approach, applied type and non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational level. The population will be 80 parents whose premature babies are hospitalized in the Neonatology Unit of the Pasco Hospital. Two surveys in the form of two questionnaires will be used as instruments. The instrument used to measure the stress coping variable by Huamani's 2019 study, where the findings yielded a Cronbach's alpha value between 0.60 and 0.90. To measure nursing care, Carranza's work from 2022 was used, where it reached a validity level of 97%, based on Crobanch's alpha of 0.973. The data will be evaluated using statistical programs such as SPSS.25.0, and the results will be presented in the form of tables, graphs and figures. To statistically analyze the association between the two variables, Spearman's Rho will be used.
Resumen
El presente estudio se ha propuesto como Objetivo general: Determinar cómo se relacionan la estrategia de afrontamiento al estrés en padres con prematuros y el cuidado de enfermería en la Unidad de Neonatología del Hospital de Pasco, 2023. Materiales y Métodos: Investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada y diseño no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional. Población la cual será de 80 padres que tengan sus bebés prematuros hospitalizados en la Unidad de Neonatología Hospital Pasco. Se emplearán dos encuestas en forma de dos cuestionarios como instrumentos. El instrumento utilizado para medir la variable afrontamiento al estrés por medio del estudio de Huamani del 2019, donde los hallazgos arrojaron un valor de alfa de Cronbach entre 0,60 y 0,90. Para medir el cuidado de enfermería se utilizó el trabajo de Carranza del año 2022 donde alcanzó un nivel de validez de 97%, basado en el alfa de Crobanch de 0,973. Los datos se evaluarán mediante programas estadísticos como SPSS.25.0, y los resultados se presentarán en forma de tablas, gráficos y figuras. Para analizar estadísticamente la asociación entre las dos variables, se empleará la Rho de Spearman.
