Waiting times are one of the problems evidenced by patient demand, generating problems that affect users and institutions. Waiting time generates anxiety, being more intense in the emergency service. Regarding satisfaction, it refers to three components: organizational (delay time); care provided, and treatment received during the professional care procedure. Objective: Determine how waiting time and user satisfaction are related to the emergency service in a hospital of the Ministry of Health (MINSA) of Lima – 2023. Methodology: It will be a study with a quantitative approach, of an applied type, of a non-experimental design, of a cross-sectional cohort correlational level, the population and sample consisted of 60 patients, for data collection the survey was used as a technique and two instruments were used. questionnaires.
Resumen
Los tiempos de espera son uno de los problemas evidenciados por la demanda de pacientes, generando problemas que afectan a los usuarios y a las instituciones. El tiempo de espera, genera ansiedad, siendo más intenso en el servicio de emergencia. En cuanto a la satisfacción se refiere a tres componentes: organizativos (tiempo de demora); atención otorgada y trato recibido durante el procedimiento de atención del profesional.
