Resumen
A carefully designed research instrument will be developed, which will not only facilitate the precise collection of data but will also serve as a valuable tool for future investigations in this field. The goal is to compare and analyze the results obtained to identify sensitivity, specificity, and predictive value, in addition to integrating the breath test as the first-choice method for detecting Helicobacter pylori gastrointestinal infections in patients from a private clinic. The method used will be the hypothetical-deductive approach, which involves formulating hypotheses to predict observable future results, with the objective of validating them. The research will be quantitative, focusing on obtaining measurable results. The study will follow a non-experimental, descriptive, and cross-sectional design, and the sample will be census-based, including 100% of the population, composed of 100 patients attending the gastroenterology service who were referred to the Clinical Laboratory of a private clinic in 2022 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Resumen
Se desarrollará un instrumento de investigación diseñado meticulosamente, que no solamente facilitará la recolección precisa de datos, sino que también se convertirá en una valiosa herramienta para futuras investigaciones relacionadas con este campo de estudio. El objetivo es comparar y analizar los resultados obtenidos para Identificar la sensibilidad, especificidad y valor predictivo además de la Integración del test de aliento como primera elección para la detección de infecciones gastrointestinales por Helicobacter pylori en pacientes de una clínica privada. El método utilizado será el hipotético-deductivo, el cual implica la formulación de hipótesis para predecir resultados futuros observables con el objetivo de validarlas. La investigación se basará en un enfoque cuantitativo, ya que se enfocará en la obtención de resultados que puedan medirse de manera precisa. El estudio se llevará a cabo siguiendo un diseño no experimental, descriptivo y transversal. La muestra se considera censal pues se seleccionará el 100 % de la población. está integrada por 100 pacientes que acuden al servicio de gastroenterología y que fueron derivados al Laboratorio Clínico de una Clínica Privada en el año 2022, que se ajustan a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión.
