Cross-cultural care and knowledge of anemia prevention in infants aged 6 to 24 months of migrant mothers from the Magdalena maternal health center, 2020

The general objective of this research is to determine the level of cross-cultural care and knowledge about anemia prevention in infants from 6 to 24 months of migrant mothers cared for at the Magdalena maternal and child health center, 2020. Likewise, the approach of this research is quantitative, applicative, descriptive, with a cross-sectional methodological design, non-experimental. And the study population was 84 migrant mothers, and the sample consisted of 70. The survey technique was used for both data collection instruments updated by the authors Parreño (2018) and Chucos (2018) on the level of cross-cultural care and knowledge about childhood anemia prevention respectively. Following the results found by 100% (70) migrant mothers surveyed, on the level of transcultural care is regular and medium with 30% (21) as prevalent, however separately the level of transcultural care is regular level 58.6% (41) prevalently and 41.4% (29) of the good level, while the level of knowledge of prevention of childhood anemia is low with 51.4% (36) prevalently, 41.4% (29) of the medium level and to a lesser extent the high level with 7.1% (5). Then, it is concluded that it was determined that the level of transcultural care and knowledge of prevention of anemia in infants from 6 to 24 months of migrant mothers who are treated at the Magdalena maternal and child health center are regular and medium prevalently.
Resumen
"El objetivo general de esta investigación es determinar el nivel de cuidado transcultural y conocimiento sobre prevención de anemia en lactantes de 6 a 24 meses de madres migrantes atendidos en el centro de salud materno infantil Magdalena, 2020 Así mismo, el enfoque de esta investigación es de tipo cuantitativo, aplicativo, descriptivo, de diseño metodológico en corte transversal, no experimental. y la población de estudio fueron 84 madres migrantes, y la muestra estuvo constituida por 70. Se utilizó la técnica de encuesta para ambos instrumentos de recolección de datos actualizados por los autores Parreño (2018) y Chucos (2018) sobre el nivel de cuidado transcultural y conocimiento sobre prevención de anemia infantil respectivamente. Seguido los resultados encontrados por el 100% (70) madres migrantes encuestadas, sobre el nivel de cuidado transcultural es regular y medio con 30% (21) como prevalente, sin embargo por separado el nivel de cuidado transcultural es de nivel regular 58.6% (41) prevalentemente y 41.4% (29) del nivel bueno, mientras que el nivel de conocimiento de prevención de anemia infantil es bajo con 51.4% (36) prevalentemente, el 41.4% (29) del nivel medio y en menor proporción el nivel alto con un 7.1% (5). Entonces, se concluye que se determinó que el nivel del cuidado transcultural y el conocimiento de prevención de anemia en lactantes de 6 a 24 meses de las madres migrantes que se atienden en el centro de salud materno infantil Magdalena son regular y medio prevalentemente."
