Resumen
Introduction: Measuring the job performance of nurses in the healthcare system has always been a challenge, especially during times of crisis. The implications of this phenomenon can compromise professional quality of life; thus, much of the system's functioning depends on the interaction of these factors. Objective: To determine how job performance is related to the professional quality of life of nurses at the International Clinic, Lima Branch - 2021. Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional. A purposive sample of 42 nurses working in the Preventive Medicine Unit of the Chronic Program "CUIDATE" at the International Clinic will be selected. The instruments used to measure the variables will be the Job Performance Questionnaire (CDL) created by López Marticorena and the Professional Quality of Life Scale: Compassion Satisfaction and Fatigue Version 4 (PROFESSIONAL QUALITY OF LIFE, ProQOL) by Hudnall Stamm. The collected data will be processed using the chi-square test and Spearman's correlation coefficient, and will be presented for discussion in order to establish improvement actions aimed at ensuring quality service to the users.
