Objective: To determine the relationship between workload and stress in nurses working in the respiratory emergency service at the Hospital in Lima, 2021. Methodology: The research is a quantitative study with a correlational level and cross-sectional design, which will be carried out with 50 nursing professionals from Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen Hospital. The technique used will be the survey, and the instruments will be two Likert-type questionnaires: The first instrument, titled "Questionnaire of the National Institute of Safety and Hygiene at Work (INSHT)", will collect information regarding the workload of the nursing professional and consists of 58 items organized into four dimensions. The second instrument, Nursing Stress Scale (NSS)", will evaluate job stress and consists of 34 items distributed across 3 dimensions. Finally, the relationship between variables will be determined using the Spearman's Rho coefficient.

"Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la carga laboral y el estrés en enfermeros del servicio de emergencia respiratoria del Hospital de Lima, 2021Metodología: la investigación es de enfoque de estudio cuantitativo de nivel correlacional y corte transaccional, que se llevará a cabo con 50 Enfermería del Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen; se utilizará como técnica la encuesta y como instrumentos dos cuestionarios de tipo escala Likert: El primer instrumento titulado “Cuestionario del Instituto Nacional de Seguridad e Higiene en el Trabajo de España (INSHT)” nos permitirá recoger información referente a la carga laboral del Enfermería lo cual consta de 58 ítems organizados en cuatro dimensiones), mientras que la segundo instrumento “Escala de estrés de enfermería - Nursing stress scale (NSS)”, evaluará el estrés laboral (consta de 34 ítems distribuidos en 3 dimensiones). Finalmente, la relación entre variables se determinará mediante el coeficiente Rho de Spearman."
