The study presented here will be carried out within the nursing oncology research line and will focus on the quality of care provided by nursing staff and the satisfaction achieved by patients undergoing chemotherapy, a systemic treatment that affects patients physically, mentally, and emotionally. This requires specialized care that allows them to manage the process in the most appropriate way possible, a task that directly falls on the nursing staff, professionals tasked with fulfilling their mission of providing humanized care. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the outpatient chemotherapy service at a hospital in Lima. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The approach will be quantitative, basic type, descriptive-correlational scope, and non-experimental-cross-sectional design. The sample will consist of 150 oncology patients. The technique will be the survey, and the instruments will be two questionnaires: one to measure the quality of nursing care and another to measure patient satisfaction.
Resumen
El estudio que aquí se presenta, se llevará a cabo dentro de la línea de investigación enfermera en oncología y se enfocará en la calidad de los cuidados que brinda el personal de enfermería y la satisfacción que alcanzan en los pacientes sometidos a quimioterapia, tratamiento sistémico que afecta a los pacientes física, mental y emocionalmente, requiriendo de una atención especializada que les permita asumir el proceso de la manera más adecuada posible, labor que recae de forma directa en el personal enfermero, profesionales llamados a cumplir su misión de brindar cuidados humanizados. OBJETIVO: determinar cuál es la relación entre calidad de cuidados de enfermería y satisfacción de pacientes del servicio de quimioterapia ambulatoria de un hospital de Lima. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: el enfoque a seguir es cuantitativo, de tipo básica, alcance descriptivo-correlacional y diseño no experimental-transversal. La muestra será de 150 pacientes oncológicos. La técnica será la encuesta y los instrumentos serán dos cuestionarios, uno para medir la calidad de cuidados de enfermería y otro para medir la satisfacción de pacientes.
