Worldwide, infants are the most vulnerable to contracting diseases, the vast majority of which can be prevented through immunization, being an important activity within the framework of Public Health. The coverage shows that not all children under 5 years of age are fully vaccinated, probably due to mothers' lack of knowledge about immunizations, and therefore, non-compliance with the vaccination schedule. Objective: To relate the level of knowledge of mothers about immunizations and compliance with the vaccination schedule of children under 5 years of age at a Maternal and Child Center, Lima 2022. Material and method: The approach will be quantitative, non-experimental design, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional. The population will be made up of 140 mothers and the sample of 103 mothers who attend the Maternal and Child Center. To measure the variable of the level of knowledge, the questionnaire that calculates the knowledge of mothers about immunization will be used, prepared by Melo M, with a validity of p 0.00352 and reliability of 0.796 measured by Crombach's Alpha. To evaluate compliance, a checklist will be applied through observation, which responds to a Magisterial Resolution No. 141 - MINSA / 2018 / DGIESP, prepared by the Ministry of Health of Peru. The instrument and the checklist will be completed in person, before informed consent. A descriptive and correlational statistical analysis will be performed.
Resumen
A nivel mundial, los infantes son los más vulnerables de contraer enfermedades de las cuales, la gran mayoría se puede prevenir mediante la inmunización, siendo una actividad importante en el marco de Salud Pública, en las coberturas se evidencia que no se llega a la totalidad de niños menores de 5 años con vacunas completas, seguramente por el desconocimiento de las madres, sobre inmunizaciones, por consiguiente, al no cumplimiento del calendario de vacunación. Objetivo: Relacionar el nivel de conocimiento de las madres sobre inmunizaciones y el cumplimiento del calendario de vacunación de los niños menores de 5 años de un Centro Materno Infantil, Lima 2022. Material y método: El enfoque será de tipo cuantitativo, diseño No experimental, tipo descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. la población estará constituida por 140 madres y la muestra de 103 madres que asisten al Centro Materno Infantil. Para medir la variable del nivel conocimiento se utilizará el cuestionario que calcula el conocimiento de las madres sobre inmunización, elaborado por Melo M, de validez p 0.00352 y confiabilidad de 0,796 medida por Alfa de Crombach. Para la evaluación del cumplimiento, será mediante la observación, se aplicará una lista de cotejo, la cual responde a una Resolución Magisterial N°141 – MINSA/2018/DGIESP, elaborada por el Ministerio de Salud del Perú. El instrumento y la lista de cotejo, serán consumados de manera presencial, antes del consentimiento informado. Se realizará un análisis estadístico descriptivo y correlacional.
