El estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre la ansiedad y el desempeño laboral en los enfermeros de un hospital de emergencias. En la metodología se emplea el método hipotético – deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional, transversal, la muestra fue de 100 enfermeros, la técnica fue la encuesta, para la variable Ansiedad se empleó el cuestionario de Hamilton y para la variable desempeño laboral empleó un instrumento estructurado diseñado por Machillanda en el 2005, validado y adaptado en Perú por Vidal Sopla en 2018; para determinar la relación entre las variables se usó la prueba rho de Spearman. Los resultados determinaron que la relación entre variables es significativa y negativa con valor de p=.000 y con un coeficiente de relación rho= -.429, moderada. Concluyéndose que existe relación significativa negativa y moderada entre la ansiedad y el desempeño laboral de los enfermeros de un hospital de emergencias.
Resumen
The present study titled “Anxiety and work performance in nurses in an emergency hospital, 2023” aims to determine the relationship between anxiety and work performance in nurses in an emergency hospital. The methodology used is based on the hypotheticaldeductive method, it has a quantitative approach, correlational type, cross-sectional, the sample was made up of 100 nursing graduates, the selected technique was the survey, for the Anxiety variable a instrument based on the Hamilton questionnaire and for the job performance variable a structured instrument designed by Machillanda (2005), validated and adapted in Peruvian by Vidal Sopla (2018); To determine the relationship between the study variables, the rho of Spearmen test was used. The results obtained determined that the relationship between the main variables is significant and negative with p value=.000 and with a rho relationship coefficient = -.429. Concluding that there is a relationship significant between anxiety and the work performance of nurses from an emergency hospital.
