Objective: To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and practice of the caregiver in the prevention of pressure ulcers in the elderly in the Home Geriatric Service of a Hospital in Lima, 2021 Material and method: The research is quantitative, relational and cross-sectional, since the collection of information will be carried out at a single time. The following instruments will be used: the Pressure Ulcer Knowledge Questionnaire by Lucero Y, et al and a Caregiver Practice Observation Guide
Resumen
Objetivo: Analizar la relación entre nivel de conocimiento y práctica del cuidador en la prevención de úlceras por presión del adulto mayor en el Servicio de Geriatría a domicilio de un Hospital de Lima, 2021 Material y método: la Investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo relacional y de corte transversal, puesto que la recolección de información se realizará en un momento único. Se usará como instrumentos: el Cuestionario de conocimientos sobre úlceras por presión de Lucero Y, et al y una Guía de observación de prácticas del cuidador
