Resumen
Ventilator-associated pneumonia has become one of the most common ICU infections. Objective: To determine how the level of knowledge about preventive measures of pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation is related to the practice of nursing personnel, in terms of the Methodology it will be a quantitative study of correlational scope, the population will be 80 nursing professionals from the Unit under study, the survey and observation will be used as a technique, and a questionnaire and an observation guide will be used as an instrument. The data will be processed in an Excel database and then analyzed with the SpSS program, performing a descriptive and then inferential analysis. non-parametric, the hypotheses will be contrasted with the Rho Spearman. The results will be presented in double-entry tables where the variables and their dimensions are displayed more broadly. Throughout the investigation, the ethical principles of human research will be maintained and respected.
Resumen
La neumonía asociada a ventilación mecánica se ha convertido en una de las infecciones más comunes de la UCI. Objetivo: Determinar cómo el nivel de conocimiento sobre medidas preventivas de la neumonía asociada a ventilación mecánica se relaciona con la práctica del personal de enfermería, en cuanto a la Metodología será un estudio cuantitativo de alcance correlacional, la población será 80 profesionales de enfermería de la Unidad objeto de estudio, se utilizará como técnica la encuesta y la observación, y como instrumento un cuestionario y una guía de observación los datos serán procesados en una base de datos Excel para luego ser analizados con el programa SpSS realizando un análisis descriptivo y luego inferencial no paramétrico, se contrastaran las hipótesis con el Rho Spearman. Se presentarán los resultados en tablas de doble entrada donde se visualicen de manera más amplia las variables y sus dimensiones.
