Chronic terminal kidney disease (CTKD) is the irreversible loss of kidney function, affecting a significant portion of the global population. It represents the stage in which the patient may be in the final phase of their illness. Due to its complexity, managing this disease requires a coordinated effort to ensure that nursing professionals can provide palliative care and improve the quality of life during the final stage, preventing the outcome from being excessively painful. The primary objective of this research was to determine the relationship between nursing palliative care and the quality of life of patients with chronic terminal kidney disease at the Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza in 2021.
Resumen
La enfermedad renal crónica terminal (ERCT), es la pérdida irreversible de la función de los riñones, la padecen una parte considerable de la población mundial, esta es la etapa en la cual el paciente se puede encontrar en su último periodo de vida de su enfermedad, por su complejidad el manejar tal enfermedad se hace necesario que se entrelacen los esfuerzos para que los Enfermería puedan ofrecer cuidados paliativos y brindarles una calidad de vida en su última etapa de vida, y evitar que el desenlace final no sea tan doloroso. la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal el determinar la relación que existe entre los cuidados paliativos de enfermería y la calidad de vida de los pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica terminal en el Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza, 2021.
