Resumen
The present work is a descriptive cross-sectional study involving 349 patients treated at the Hospital de Apoyo Departamental María Auxiliadora. Patients of both genders, aged 18 to 96, with an inflammatory profile available (for PCR, LDH, ferritin, D-dimer, and Interleukin 6), and positive rapid or molecular tests for SARS-CoV-2, in mild, moderate, and severe stages, with a history of chronic diseases (diabetes mellitus and hypertension), were included. The main objective was to describe the alterations in serum inflammatory markers according to the severity of SARS-CoV-2 infection in patients at the Hospital de Apoyo Departamental María Auxiliadora, Lima, 2020. The conclusion was that serum inflammatory markers showed alterations with high values of interleukin, PCR, and D-dimer in patients with moderate and severe SARS-CoV-2 infection, while LDH and ferritin showed high values in mild, moderate, and severe stages in patients treated at the Hospital de Apoyo Departamental María Auxiliadora, Lima, 2020.
Resumen
El presente trabajo de diseñó descriptivo de corte trasversal en 349 pacientes atendidos en el Hospital de Apoyo Departamental María Auxiliadora. Se incluyeron pacientes de ambos sexos, de entre 18 a 96 años, con perfil inflamatorio disponible (para PCR, LDH, ferritina, Dímero D, e Interleucina 6), con resultado positivo de prueba rápida y/o molecular para SARS-CoV-2, en estadios leve, moderado, y severo, y con antecedentes de enfermedades crónicas (diabetes mellitus e hipertensión arterial). Siendo nuestro objetivo principal, describir las alteraciones de los marcadores inflamatorios séricos según la severidad de la infección por SARS-CoV-2 en pacientes del Hospital de Apoyo Departamental María Auxiliadora, Lima 2020. Llegando a la conclusión que los marcadores inflamatorios séricos mostraron alteraciones con valores altos de interleucina, PCR, dímero D en pacientes con infección por SARS-CoV-2 en estadio moderado y severo, con relación al LDH y Ferritina mostraron valores altos en estadio leve, moderado y severo en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital de Apoyo Departamental María Auxiliadora, Lima 2020.
