From the methodological point of view, a basic research approach with a deductive method was adopted, using a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach with an explanatory level. The population included 42 nursing workers, so a census sampling was carried out, and data collection was carried out through surveys that used a questionnaire as an instrument. The results highlight a significantly high and solid correlation between the variable organizational climate and job satisfaction, determined by Spearman's correlation coefficient (ρ= .879**). Consequently, it is concluded that the improvement of the organizational climate is directly related to an increase in the job satisfaction of nursing professionals. This relationship is bidirectional, suggesting that an increase in job satisfaction also indicates an organizational climate prone to being positive. These findings underscore the importance of considering these interrelationships when implementing policies and practices aimed at optimizing the work environment, seeking to improve the well-being and performance of nursing professionals in this hospital.Publicación Acceso abierto Efectividad de una intervención educativa sobre conocimientos del cáncer oral en pacientes del consultorio dental “Dientecito” del distrito de Puente Piedra, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-03-24) Alva Asencios, Fiddler Cirilo; Isminio Valverde, Angel Custodio; Mendoza Arana, Pedro JesusThe objective of the study was to determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention on knowledge of oral cancer in patients of the "Dientecito" dental office in the Puente Piedra district, Lima 2021. Quantitative research of quasi-experimental and longitudinal design. 80 patients were the sample, divided into 40 in the control group and 40 in the experimental group, in which the pretest and posttest of the oral cancer questionnaire were applied. The contrast of the hypotheses was carried out with the nonparametric tests of U of Mann Whitney, and the Wilcoxon Test. The results showed that, once the educational intervention on oral cancer was carried out in the experimental group, the level of poor knowledge of 92.5% in the pretest improved to good in 65% and fair in 35% of the patients. In the dimensions of oral cancer, knowledge still improved: In general, from bad in 67.5% to regular in 85% and 15% good; in risk factors, from bad in 90% to good in 75% and regular in 20%; about signs and symptoms, from bad in 82.5% to good in 65% and regular in 30%; about the repercussions, from bad in 90% to good in 47.5% and regular in 35%; and on prevention of oral cancer, from bad in 92.5% to good in 85% and fair in 15% of patients. To test the hypothesis, the application of the educational intervention was significantly effective in improving the patient's knowledge about generalities, risk factors, signs and symptoms, repercussions, and prevention of oral cancer (sig <0.05). It is concluded that the application of the educational intervention on oral cancer was significantly effective in improving the knowledge of patients (sig <0.05).Publicación Acceso abierto Estilos de vida y su relación con el estado nutricional de trabajadores de un mercado de Magdalena del Mar 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-11-14) Mora Negrón, Ambar Magaly; Mendoza Arana, Pedro JesusObjective: Determine the relationship between Lifestyle and Nutritional Status of workers in the Magdalena food market in 2024. Results: A significant relationship (p=0.000) was found between perception factors and the intention to use Telemedicine. The strength of correlation for each factor was, from greatest to least extent: perceived usefulness (Rho = 0.658), ease of use (Rho = 0.612), facilitating conditions (Rho = 0.378) and subjective norm (Rho = 0.375). Conclusions: The perception factors have a significant, positive and moderate to strong relationship with Intention to use. The fact that health professionals perceive that Telemedicine improves their work and makes it more efficient, and that it requires them to make less effort, is closely related to a greater intention to use the Santa Rosa Hospital Telemedicine system. A significant positive correlation was found between self-medication and adherence (rho = 0.218; p < 0.001), suggesting a slight trend towards lower adherence among those practicing self-medication. Conclusions: A significant positive relationship was observed between self-medication and treatment adherence in this population, though the correlation was mild. Educational strategies are recommended in pharmacies to promote safe medication use and improve treatment adherence.
