Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the Educational Program “Clean Hands Save Lives” in the knowledge, attitudes and practices of hand hygiene in nursing staff in a clinic in Chiclayo, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-25) Fuentes Ramírez, Mayra Vanessa; Solís Paredes, Xiomy Anshelit; Millones Gomez, Segundo GermanThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the educational program “Clean hands save lives” on the knowledge, attitudes and practices of hand hygiene in nursing staff in a clinic in Chiclayo 2023. The method was hypothetical-deductive with a quantitative approach. applied, preexperimental design, with a census sample, non-probabilistic sampling, made up of 114 nursing collaborators, the observation technique was applied and the instruments were questionnaires and observation lists, with prior informed consent. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and the educational program, where the significance value (sig. = 0.000) is less than the theoretical significance value (α=0.05), where the educational program is effective in improving knowledge. , in terms of attitude and educational program, there is no relationship because the observed significance value (sig. = 0.790) is greater than the theoretical significance value (α=0.05), where the educational program is not effective in improve attitudes, and there is a relationship between practices and educational program, at the observed significance value (sig. = 0.000) is lower than the theoretical significance value (α=0.05), where the educational program is effective in improving practices hand hygiene in nursing staff. Concluding that, the educational program applied was effective in favorably modifying the knowledge and practice of hand hygiene, failing to modify the attitudes of the personnel studied since continuous monitoring and permanent education in healthcare collaborators is required to create a culture of hand hygiene.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and attitudes about adverse events in the culture of patient safety of the heulth personnel of the Divino Niño Jesús Clinic – Lima 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-12) Quispe Casanova, Alexander Abel; Raffo Ibarra, Guillermo AlejandroResearch work, entitled “Knowledge and attitudes about adverse events in the culture of patient safety of health personnel of the Divino Niño Jesús Clinic. Lima, 2019. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about adverse events in the patient safety culture of the health staff of the Divine Child Jesus Clinic. Material and method: Due to the type of research, the current work is basic, descriptive, quantitative, prospective, transverse. The population is 60 health personnel. In the variable attitudes the instrument will be a Likert Scale type questionnaire. They contain 28 items. The knowledge variable will use the questionnaire with 10 items, structured in 5 alternatives. Results: The null hypothesis is rejected, having a p = 003. The general hypothesis is fulfilled, there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes about events in the patient's safety culture, since the value is, X2 = 11, 429th; g.l. = 2; reason why independence between the research variables is rejected, the relationship between the variables is confirmed, being this positive and significant relationship according to Cramer's V statistic = 0.436. Conclusions: With the present work it was determined that there is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes about adverse events, in the culture of patient safety of the health staff of the divine clinic Jesus child, since, not to have more knowledge, they will Have a better attitude.
