    Death anxiety is a basic fear underlying the development and maintenance of numerous psychological conditions among nursing professionals in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Care and Isolation Center, Hospital Villa Panamericana. It is caused by the perception of danger to one’s existence, and will be measured using the Death Anxiety Scale (DAS) by Templer. Objective: To determine death anxiety in nursing professionals in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Care and Isolation Center, COVID-19 Hospital Villa Panamericana, Lima-2020. Material and methods: This study is quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The design is non-experimental, as the variable will not be deliberately manipulated. Data collection will be done through surveys. The main variable will be measured using the Death Anxiety Scale (DAS), which assesses anxiety levels across four categories: low, moderate, moderately high, and high.

    This research falls within the specialty of nursing in the intensive care unit, focusing on the issues of anxiety and Burnout Syndrome among nurses working in this context, particularly during the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, given its significant impact on the health and lives of the entire population, especially healthcare personnel, whose responsibilities often exceed their physical, mental, and emotional coping capacity. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between anxiety and Burnout Syndrome in nurses working in the intensive care unit of a clinic in Lima during the pandemic in 2021. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The research has a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational scope and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample will consist of 25 nurses. The technique will be a survey, and the instruments applied will be the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI).

    Anxiety and depression in the ICU nursing staff of a reference hospital in the northern cone of Lima, 2021

    Introduction: In the world, the catastrophe situation due to the Covid19 pandemic is affecting the mental health of nursing staff and subjecting them to high levels of anxiety that can trigger depressive symptoms with severe consequences for their health, a situation that leads us to rethink prevention and control strategies, for which it is necessary to have evidence that allows these efforts to be guided. Objective: to establish the relationship between anxiety and depression in the nursing staff of the intensive care unit of a reference hospital in the northern cone of Lima, 2021. Methods: the study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population and census sample will be made up of all the nursing staff who work in the intensive care unit of the Cayetano Heredia national hospital in the northern cone of Lima. The sample will be taken between July and August 2021 using two highly reliable questionnaires such as the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale and the Generalized Depression Disorder Scale, which will collect data to be processed using non-invasive tests. parametric tests to establish the relationship between both variables in order to predict depression in our staff.

    Associated factors and prevalence of pressure injuries in intensive care unit patients

    Introduction: In intensive care units, pressure injuries are still evident due to the prolonged time of immobility that occurs in patients. Objective: To determine the relationship of associated factors and the prevalence of pressure injury in patients in the Intensive Care Unit, Hospital María Auxiliadora, 2023 Methods: The type of research will be descriptive correlational with a non-experimental design. The population is made up of patients from the intensive care unit. The care instruments of the Norton Scale and the observation scale will be applied. The data will be processed in the statistical program SPSS and the normality test will be sought with KMO to verify the use of parametric or non-parametric statistics.

    Attitude towards promoting organ donation and transplantation among nursing professionals in intensive care units at Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital, Lima – 2019

    Methods: Quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach. The population was 154 nurses who met the inclusion criteria. The technique used was the interview and the instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: The attitude towards organ donation and transplantation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has the highest promotion by 52%, and the lowest is 48%. The same for the dimensions: PRL (attitudes towards the defense of the organ donor at a political and research level) with 54%, APS (attitudes towards actively and personally safeguarding the will and wishes of the potential organ donor) with 53%, SPPA (attitude towards safeguarding the will and wishes of the potential donor through a professional approach) with 63%, and SWR (attitudes towards safeguarding the will and wishes of patients) with 76%, consecutively, maintaining greater promotion for nursing. With respect to the first SHL dimension (attitude of defense of the organ donor at the structural Hospital level), a greater proportion of nurses with lower promotion is evident with 57%. Conclusions: The Attitude of Promotion of Organ Donation and Transplantation by the Professional Care Nurse of the Intensive Care Units is of greater promotion by ATODAS (Attitude of the nurse towards the promotion of organ donors).

    Burnout syndrome among intensive care unit nurses at a MINSA hospital in Metropolitan Lima – 2020

    The objective of this research project is to determine the level of Burnout Syndrome in the nursing staff of the Intensive Care Unit of a Minsa hospital in metropolitan Lima, evaluating the three dimensions of burnout: Psychological Exhaustion, Depersonalization and Personal Accomplishment. For this purpose, the Maslach Burnout Inventory Services Survey (MBI-HSS) will be used. The type of study is descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative approach and non-experimental design. The type of sampling is non-probabilistic for convenience with a population made up of 55 nursing professionals from the intensive care area of a MINSA hospital. The results will then be analyzed and the most appropriate recommendations will be provided to the study group.

    Burnout Syndrome and job performance in nurses at a hospital in the de los hospitals de EsSalud, Ica - 2023

    The objective of this research project is to identify the relationship between the level of Burnout Syndrome and job performance in nurses at a hospital in the de los hospitals de EsSalud, Ica -2023. Methodology: It corresponds to a correlational design study, with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional, in which the Burnout Syndrome variable will be investigated through the survey technique using the Maslach Scale as an instrument, while, for job performance, a validated questionnaire will be used where a population of 25 nursing professionals who work in the Intensive care unit for more than six months. The results will be obtained in a descriptive way according to the stated objectives determined according to the score achieved according to the high, medium and low-level Burnout Syndrome and the same values for work performance, likewise, cross tables and graphs will be constructed which will be interpreted and the contrast of hypotheses will be done through the Chi square statistic. The conclusions will be determined according to the stated objectives.

    Burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in nurses from the neonatal intensive care unit of the Hermilio Valdizán regional hospital in Huánuco, 2023

    Objective: To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction among nurses in the neonatal ICU of Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizán, Huánuco, 2023. Materials and Methods: This research follows the hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative, basic, and descriptive approach. The population consists of 48 nurses from the neonatal ICU of Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizán, Huánuco, 2023. Since the population is manageable in size, a census sample was used. The survey technique was applied, and the instruments utilized were the Maslach Burnout Inventory, measuring the dimensions of Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization, and Personal Accomplishment, along with a job satisfaction questionnaire. Both instruments are validated and demonstrated reliability through the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which yielded a value of 0.794, indicating excellent reliability according to the Kuder-Richardson classification table. Data processing was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0, and Excel for Windows 2016 was employed for data entry into a structured matrix as the database for the measurement instruments.

    The present study has been proposed as a General Objective: Determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in nursing professionals in the Intensive Care Unit of a Clinic in Lima, 2024. Materials and Methods: Argued in a hypothetical-deductive investigation quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional, which will allow obtaining results for the stated objectives. Population made up of 85 nursing professionals who work in the Intensive Care Unit of a clinic in Lima. Likewise, to measure these variables, two questionnaires will be used, which have been duly validated by expert judgment confirming their application. Regarding reliability, Cronbach's alpha reliability test was used at the national level, and the results were 0.84 for the first variable and a value of 0.88 for the second variable. The data analysis will be done with descriptive statistics (frequencies of the variables and each of their dimensions) and inferential statistics (normality analysis, hypothesis testing). Due to the non-normal distribution of the data, the correlation test will be Spearman's rho.

    Burnout Syndrome and Quality of Nursing records in the Care Service in a Police hospital in Lima - Peru 2022

    The investigation will arise because the personnel who work in the ICU could be suffering from burnout syndrome and it will be affecting their development and therefore their work will be affected in the quality of the records, which is why the study will be carried out. Objective: “To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and the quality of nursing records in the intensive care service in a police hospital in Lima – Peru, 2022”, where two instruments will be applied: the “Maslach Burnout Inventory” questionnaire (MBI)” and the checklist for “registration quality”. For Burnout syndrome the technique will be the survey and the instrument will be the MBI and for the quality of the records the technique will be observation and the instrument will be the checklist. Material and method: The study will be a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design, in a population of 150 nurses. Both instruments are valid and reliable for their respective application and subsequent processing, which will be carried out in the respective statistical programs where the correlational results can be obtained through the chi square test.

But when work demands increase and exceed adaptive capacities, stress arises; that by maintaining it over time runs the risk of developing Burnout Syndrome (SB). SB has been a type of work stress, which takes into account physical and mental exhaustion and emotional exhaustion; afflicting the health professional worldwide and leading to deterioration in the quality of care and patient care. Objective: To determine the relationship that exists between the burnout syndrome and the work performance of the nursing professional in the neonatal intensive care unit of a hospital in Lima - 2023, the Method: it is Hypothetical Deductive with a Quantitative approach, type of Applied research, Non-Experimental, cross-sectional, scope-level, correlational design. Population: 80 Nurses from the Neonatal ICU will make up the study population, it will not have a sample because it will work with the total population, the instruments that will be used will be the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to measure the burnout syndrome variable and to measure the Job performance variable, the Machillanda questionnaire will be used, after data collection will be processed in SPSS V24 and will be expressed through graphs and tables, to test the hypothesis the CHI square statistic will be used.

    This project will be carried out in the covid 1 intensive care unit of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Hospital during the third quarter of 2021, in which exclusively the nursing staff who work in the area will participate. OBJECTIVE Our general objective is to establish the level of Burnout Syndrome in Nursing professionals who work in the COVID Intensive Care Unit. METHODOLOGY will be based on a cross-sectional descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The study will be carried out with the entire population, that is, 35 nurses. For data collection, the Malash Burnout Inventory – HS questionnaire will be applied as an instrument. To collect the information, authorization will be requested from the personnel in charge of the hospital's training and teaching area to carry out the project, proceeding to apply the instrument with prior informed consent. After obtaining the data, they will be entered into the statistical software and the results will be expressed in tables.

    Burnout Syndrome (BOS) is the deterioration or exhaustion suffered by professionals in the performance of their duties. Nursing staff in times of the COVID-19 pandemic are more likely to suffer from symptoms; This symptom can increase due to more specialized work, such as the Intensive Care Unit. The objective of the research is "To determine the level of Burnout Syndrome in the nursing professional in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit of an EsSalud Lima Hospital, 2021." The methodology will be deductive, quantitative, applied and descriptive level. The design will be observational, non-experimental and transversal. The population will be made up of 40 nursing professionals who work in the “COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit of an EsSalud Lima Hospital, 2021”. The entire population will be taken, which is very small, the sampling will be for convenience and not probabilistic. Data collection will be in the month of September 2021; The “Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI)” questionnaire will be used and will consist of 22 items, which will be distributed in 3 dimensions: “Emotional exhaustion”, “depersonalization” and “Personal fulfillment”. The data obtained will be classified, recorded, tabulated and coded, then they will be analyzed using the SPSS 25 program. The results will be illustrated in tables, charts, graphs as appropriate, for subsequent analysis and interpretation.

Methodology: This research has a quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional approach; we will work with 32 nurses from the Adult Intensive Care Unit of the Ricardo Palma Clinic, who sign the informed consent.     Calidad de atención de enfermería y satisfacción de familiares del paciente en unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital público, nuevo Chimbote, 2025

    La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre la calidad de atención de enfermería y la satisfacción de los familiares de pacientes en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) de un hospital público de Nuevo Chimbote, 2025. La investigación es cuantitativa, utilizando la forma hipotética deductiva de corte no experimental, transversal y de alcance correlacional. La población está conformada por 50 familiares directos de pacientes críticos hospitalizados, utilizándose un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia que abarca a la totalidad de la población. En cuando a la variable calidad de atención, se utilizará el cuestionario desarrollado por Gonzales y Guevara (2016), compuesto por 20 ítems, validado por tres expertos con un consenso del 97% y una confiabilidad de α de Cronbach = 0.912. La variable satisfacción de los familiares se evaluará con el cuestionario de Flores y Pozo (2019), conformado por 9 ítems, validado por tres expertos con un consenso del 97% y una confiabilidad de α de Cronbach = 0.96. Ambos instrumentos serán nuevamente validados y se garantizará la confiabilidad de los datos a través de encuestas aplicadas a los participantes. El procesamiento de información se realizará mediante Microsoft Excel y SPSS versión 26. Inicialmente, se utilizará la estadística descriptiva (porcentajes, tablas y gráficos) para identificar los niveles y distribución de las variables. Posteriormente, se emplearán pruebas de correlación de Pearson o Spearman, según la normalidad de información, con el fin de contrastar las hipótesis planteadas.

    Capacidad de afrontamiento - adaptación y su relación con el miedo a la muerte en familiares de pacientes hospitalizados en cuidados intensivos del hospital Arzobispo Loayza Lima – 2024

    El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la relación entre la capacidad de afrontamiento y adaptación y el miedo a la muerte en los familiares de pacientes internados en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Arzobispo Loayza en Lima durante el año 2024. Metodología: Se llevará a cabo una investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico y diseño no experimental, con un nivel descriptivo y correlacional. La muestra estará compuesta por 100 familiares de pacientes hospitalizados, seleccionados mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La recolección de datos se realizará a través de encuestas, utilizando como herramientas la versión en español de la "Escala de Medición del Proceso de Afrontamiento y Adaptación" (ESCAP) y la "Escala de Miedo a la Muerte" (FODS). Una vez obtenidos los datos, se verificará la calidad de las respuestas antes de ingresarlas en una matriz de Excel. Posteriormente, se procesarán en el software estadístico SPSS versión 26, donde se asignarán etiquetas a las variables y sus categorías. Se calcularán los puntajes y niveles de cada variable y, mediante la prueba de Kolmogórov-Smirnov, se determinará si los datos siguen una distribución normal. Para evaluar las hipótesis del estudio, se utilizarán pruebas estadísticas como el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman o Pearson. Finalmente, los resultados se presentarán a través de tablas y figuras, acompañadas de su respectivo análisis e interpretación.
