Resumen
The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of NSAIDs and gastritis in adult patients (40 to 85 years old). Methodology: The method employed was hypothetical-deductive, with a basic research type, a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, and a correlational level. The sample consisted of 311 clinical records of patients from the general medicine area. For the information analysis, the two variables with their dimensions and indicators were considered. Results: Since the p-value is less than 0.05 (p = 0.026), the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted at a 5% significance level. Conclusion: A significant relationship exists between the use of NSAIDs and gastritis in adult patients at CAP III El Agustino in Metropolitan Lima, during the January to July 2021 semester.
Resumen
El presente estudio buscó tuvo como objetivo: determinar la relación que existe entre el uso de AINES y la gastritis en los pacientes adultos (40 a 85 años). Metodología: Método empleado hipotético-deductivo, investigación básica, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, y nivel correlacional. La muestra fue de 311 historias clínicas de pacientes del área de medicina general. Para el análisis de la información se tomaron en cuenta las dos variables con dimensiones e indicadores. Resultados: Como el p valor es menor a 0,05 (p valor =0,026) se rechaza la Ho y se acepta H1, es decir a un nivel de significancia del 5%. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre el uso de AINES y la gastritis en los pacientes adultos del CAP III El Agustino, Lima Metropolitana, semestre enero a julio 2021.
