The study had a non-experimental design, descriptive level, basic type, and quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 160 professionals from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at Norbert Wiener University, who voluntarily answered a 20-question Likert scale questionnaire. The results showed that the labor factors that most frequently influence the choice of a pharmaceutical specialty are length of service (78.1%) and social relationships (67.5%). On the other hand, the factors that occasionally influence this choice are habitual activity (83.8%), intellectual activity (74.4%), and productivity (58.8%).
El estudio fue de diseño no experimental, de nivel descriptivo, tipo básica, con enfoque cuantitativo. La muestra fue de 160 profesionales de la facultad de Farmacia y Bioquímica de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, que respondieron voluntariamente un cuestionario de 20 preguntas con escala de calificación Likert. Los resultados alcanzados sobre los factores laborales que impactan con mayor frecuencia en la elección de una especialidad farmacéutica son: el tiempo de servicio con (78,1%) y la relación social con (67,5%), mientras que factores laborales que impactan ocasionalmente son: la actividad habitual (83,8%), la actividad intelectual (74,4%), y la productividad con (58,8%).
