Objetivo general: Determinar la relación entre el estrés y el desempeño laboral de los enfermeros que trabajan en el servicio de emergencias de un hospital nacional. Materiales y Métodos: Se llevará a cabo un estudio cuantitativo de tipo correlacional y descriptivo, con una muestra de 120 enfermeros del área de emergencias de un hospital en Lima. La técnica utilizada será el sondeo, y se aplicarán cuestionarios para medir el estrés, utilizando la Escala de Estrés Laboral de la OIT-OMS. Para evaluar el rendimiento laboral, se empleará una escala de Likert adaptada por Guzmán. Ambos instrumentos han sido validados y son confiables en el contexto peruano. Los datos se analizarán mediante un enfoque descriptivo, calculando frecuencias absolutas y relativas, y se aplicará la prueba de hipótesis de Spearman. Los resultados se presentarán en tablas y gráficos, y se mantendrá un enfoque ético a lo largo de toda la investigación.
Resumen
General Objective: To determine the relationship between stress and job performance of nurses working in the emergency department of a national hospital. Materials and Methods: A quantitative correlational and descriptive study will be conducted, with a sample of 120 nurses from the emergency area of a hospital in Lima. The technique used will be surveying, and questionnaires will be applied to measure stress, using the ILO-WHO Occupational Stress Scale. To assess job performance, a Likert scale adapted by Guzmán will be employed. Both instruments have been validated and are reliable in the Peruvian context. The data will be analyzed using a descriptive approach, calculating absolute and relative frequencies, and the Spearman hypothesis test will be applied. The results will be presented in tables and graphs, and an ethical approach will be maintained throughout the research.
