This research will aim to determine the relationship between self-esteem and quality of life in postmastectomized patients at IREN Centro, 2022. As such, it is of an applied type, it is attached to the quantitative approach, non-experimental design of correlational scope, of cross section, with a population of 192 subjects, a probabilistic sample of 128 patients and simple random sampling. The survey will be used as a technique, while the instrument will be the questionnaire. To measure the first variable, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale is used, while for quality of life, the WHOQOL questionnaire is used. These are standardized instruments and have validity and reliability. For the first questionnaire, there is a validation for the Peruvian case carried out by Ventura et al, yielding a value greater than 0.80, and its reliability is 0.80; for the second questionnaire, its content validity was obtained by Llallahui (0.80) and a reliability of 0.846.
Resumen
Esta investigación tendrá como objetivo Determinar la relación que existe entre la autoestima y calidad de vida en pacientes post mastectomizadas en el IREN Centro, 2022. Como tal, es de tipo aplicada, se adscribe al enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental de alcance correlacional, de corte transversal, con una población de 192 sujetos, una muestra probabilística de 128 pacientes y muestreo aleatorio simple. Como técnica se empleará la encuesta, mientras que el instrumento será el cuestionario. Para medir la primera variable se cuenta con la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg, mientras que para calidad de vida se tiene al cuestionario WHOQOL Se trata de instrumentos estandarizados y cuentan con validez y confiabilidad. Para el primer cuestionario se cuenta con una validación para el caso peruano realizada por Ventura et al, arrojando un valor mayor a 0.80, y su confiabilidad es de 0.80; para el segundo cuestionario su validez de contenido fue obtenida por Llallahui (0.80) y una confiabilidad de 0.846.
