Resumen
Introduction: Non-compliance with the vaccination schedule is a problem that persists globally, making it necessary to improve vaccination coverage and thus prevent the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases. To do this, it is necessary to characterize the associated factors to non-compliance with the vaccination schedule in children under 5 years of age, in order to design appropriate strategies, considering the perspective of their mothers. Objective: Determine the risk factors involved in non-compliance with the vaccination schedule in mothers with children under 5 years of age in a Callao Hospital, identifying the associated socio-economic, cognitive and institutional factors. Methods: Study with a quantitative approach, basic, non-experimental, hypothetical-deductive, correlational and transversal. The population will be made up of the mothers of children under 5 years of age who are attended in vaccine service at a Hospital in Callao. Data processing and analysis: The data will be processed and analyzed using Excel spreadsheets, through inferential non-parametric statistics methods.
