This study is to Objective: Determine the relationship between nursing therapeutic communication and the level of anxiety in pre-surgical patients of the Surgery Department of a National Hospital in Lima 2023. Methodology: The hypothetical-deductive method will be used, with a quantitative approach, of an application type and non-experimentalcorrelational design, it will be made up of a sample of 183 pre-surgical patients from the surgery service of the hospital in question, obtained by applying the formula for a probabilistic sample. Data collection techniques and instruments: The technique to be used will be the survey, and 2 instruments will be used for data collection: Nursing therapeutic communication questionnaire (Guevara) and anxiety level questionnaire (Spielberg et al), both validated at the national level and good reliability (0.92 and 0.88 respectively). Procedures: The collection of information will be carried out in a period of 1 month. Once the data has been collected, it will be organized with the Excel 2021 program to be codified and organized, later it will be exported to the statistical program SPSS version 27. Statistical analysis: For the descriptive analysis, tables of frequencies and statistical percentages will be designed, which will be represented graphically. To test the hypothesis, the nonparametric Spearman's Rho statistical test will be used.

El presente estudio tiene por objetivo: determinar la relación entre la comunicación terapéutica de enfermería y el nivel de ansiedad en pacientes prequirurgicos del servicio de cirugía de un hospital nacional de lima 2023.Metodologia se empleará el método hipotético-deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicativo y de diseño no experimental-correlacional, estará conformado por una muestra de 183 pacientes prequirurgico del servicio de cirugía del hospital en mención
