Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la calidad del cuidado y el nivel de satisfacción de los pacientes oncológicos del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas en el año 2023. Métodos: De tipo hipotético - deductivo, cuantitativo, no experimental y alcance correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 153 pacientes oncológicos a quienes se les aplicaron dos instrumentos. Resultados: Respecto a la relación entre calidad del cuidado de enfermería y satisfacción de los pacientes se obtuvo un coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman igual a 0,812 y se halló una significancia de p<0.05. Respecto a la correlación entre cada una de las dimensiones de la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción de los pacientes oncológicos se obtuvieron valores del Rho Spearman positivos y significancia p<0,05. Conclusión: Existe relación significativa muy buena entre la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción de los pacientes oncológicos. Asimismo, existe relación significativa entre las dimensiones de la calidad del cuidado de enfermería y el nivel de satisfacción de los pacientes oncológicos del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas.
Resumen
Objective: Determine the relationship between the quality of care and the level of satisfaction of cancer patients at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases in the year 2023. Methods: Hypothetical - deductive type, quantitative approach, non-experimental design and correlational scope. The sample was made up of 153 oncology patients to whom two instruments were applied. Results: Regarding the relationship between quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction, a Spearman's Rho rating coefficient equal to 0.812 was obtained and a significance of p<0.05 was found. Regarding the evaluation between each of the dimensions of the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction of cancer patients, positive Rho Spearman values and significance p<0.05 were obtained. Conclusion: There is a very good significant relationship between the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction of oncology patients. Likewise, there is a significant relationship between the dimensions of the quality of nursing care and the level of satisfaction of cancer patients at the National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases.
