The research work “Conocimientos y actitudes sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes de la institución educativa 1290 nueva américa, ate vitarte - 2023” aims to address the study of the relationship between knowledge about the use of contraceptive methods and attitude secondary level of the Educational Institution 1290 Nueva América, Ate Vitarte – 2023. For this purpose, a quantitative approach was used, based on research with a descriptive-correlational scope and a non-experimental design. The study population was considered to be 94 adolescents belonging to the Institution. The research technique used was the survey, while the research instrument was the questionnaire. To collect the information, the questionnaires were applied to the 94 students. The findings indicate that there is a significant, positive and moderate relationship between knowledge about the use of contraceptive methods and attitude (Rho = 0.620; p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). From these results, it is concluded that knowledge about contraceptive methods is closely related to the attitude towards their use; therefore, it is clear that it is pertinent to carry out dissemination efforts that contribute to making information available to the public. regarding reaching the greatest number of young people, so that they can make responsible use of them.
Resumen
El trabajo de investigación “Conocimientos y actitudes sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos en adolescentes de la institución educativa 1290 nueva américa, ate vitarte - 2023” tiene como objetivo abordar el estudio de la relación entre el conocimiento sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos y la actitud de nivel secundario de la Institución Educativa 1290 nueva América, Ate Vitarte – 2023. Con este propósito, se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, fundamentado en una investigación con un alcance descriptivo-correlacional y un diseño no experimental. Se consideró como población del estudio por 94 adolescentes pertenecientes a la Institución. La técnica de investigación utilizada fue la encuesta, mientras que el instrumento de investigación fue el cuestionario. Para la recolección de la información se aplicaron los cuestionarios a los 94 4estuadiantes. Los hallazgos indican que existe una relación significativa, positiva y moderada entre el conocimiento sobre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos y la actitud (Rho = 0,620; p-valor = 0,000 < 0,05). A partir de estos resultados, se concluye que el conocimiento sobre los métodos anticonceptivos se encuentra estrechamente relacionado con la actitud sobre el uso de los mismos.
