Publicación Acceso abierto Adolescencia, prematuridad y peso al nacer asociado a la mortalidad neonatal en el Hospital María Auxiliadora Lima-Perú, 2018-2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-12-02) Bobadilla Minaya, David Elias; Arispe Alburqueque, Claudia MilagrosThis research aimed to determine the association between adolescence, prematurity, and birth weight with neonatal mortality at the Maria Auxiliadora Hospital, between the years 2018 and 2019. The method is hypothetical deductive with a quantitative approach, applied of Cases and Controls design, the sample was 98 cases and 98 controls, paired 1:1, random sampling, the multivariate logistic regression analysis and the Chi2 test were performed for the hypothesis testing. The results obtained from the multivariate analysis statistical test p= 0, 02 for prematurity, p= 0,000 for low birth weight, p= 0,000, for adolescence, all the values of p <0,05 which there is an association with neonatal mortality; being explanatory, it allows predicting the probability of risk of neonatal death occurring when the mother is a teenager, premature and newborn with extremely low weight, being the risk impact of 96%, otherwise, if the mother is an adult and is pregnant at term and with a live birth with normal weight, the risk impact is only 9%; neonatal death are 35% with extremely low weight, 73% are premature and 62% occur in teenage mothers. As a conclusion, maternal and neonatal risk factors are associated with neonatal mortality and a higher frequency of deaths occur within the first 7 days and with extremely low birth weight.Publicación Acceso abierto Alteraciones dentales de número, ubicación y localización en el maxilar. Radiographic study in the Peruvian population. 2011-2020. Method: Quantitative approach, nonexperimental design applied type and correlation level in a universe of 8,000 panoramic radiographs of Peruvian patients of both sexes between 6 and 12 years old from the city of Lima, Peru. The sample was estimated with a precision of 3%, an expected proportion of 10% and a confidence level of 99%, obtaining 614 radiographic images selected by the simple random method. Results: Number abnormalities in 13,5% of cases with 7,3% agenesis and 6,2% supernumerary, 11,8% occurred in women and 15,7% in men, 8,6% and 4,4% in the upper and lower jaw respectively (p = 0,000). 51,1% of agenesis were in the lower jaw and 44,4% in the upper one. 86,8% of supernumeraries were in the upper jaw and 10,5% in the lower jaw, finding a statistically significant difference (p = 0,000). Conclusions: The frequency of anomalies is within that reported in the literature. Mostly located in the upper jaw with a statistically significant difference between both jaws. It is a research with a quantitative, applied, non-experimental, transversal approach. The study population consisted of 40 pregnant women, when applying the calculation formula for two qualitative variables, a sample of 36 was obtained. The pregnant women were surveyed by applying a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and to find the significance of the results the chi-square test was applied When performing the hypothesis test, we had a result of X2 table = 3.84 and X2 test = 12.857, rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the study hypothesis.Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad de atención y la satisfacción del usuario externo en consultorio de diferentes especialidades del Hospital Santa Rosa, Pueblo Libre, Periodo, abril-mayo, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-07-26) Milla Davila, Soledad Betty; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe objective of the research carried out is to determine the relationship between the quality of care and the satisfaction of the external user in offices of different specialties of the Hospital Santa Rosa, Pueblo Libre, period, April-May, 2021, taking into account 3 Dimensions of my consideration of the first variable. Thus, the applied methodology of the descriptive, non-experimental study, of correlational design with a quantitative approach, with a sample of 80 external users attended in the aforementioned, which is provided with two questionnaires, quality of care and the second, user satisfaction external, under their knowledge and authorship to continue with the answers according to their evaluation and perception of it. Once finished, the data is emptied into the Excel program and then processed with the SPSS.vrs 21 program, with descriptive analysis, graphic tables and interpretation, as well as the interferential analysis and correlation of variables and dimensions according to the objective set. The result obtained on quality of care is observed 58% of users consider having good quality of care in the different services, 35% regular and 6% bad, satisfaction 66.3% perceive to be satisfied, 28% little, 5% dissatisfied. Regarding the sociodemographic, women 60.5% consider that the quality of care is good, compared to men 56.8%; bad 10.8%., The analysis of the relationship between quality of care and satisfaction is observed, the Spearman Correlation coefficient is 0.795 which indicates that the quality of care and satisfaction are directly related; with probability of error is p = 0.000, less than the level of significance 1%; reject the null hypothesis; Therefore, the quality of care is statistically related to satisfaction. The relationship between the response capacity dimension of the quality of care and the satisfaction variable, we observe the Spearman Correlation coefficient is 0.657; direct value; having error p = 0.000, less than the level of significance 1%; the null hypothesis is rejected. This study is applied, correlational, of non-experimental design and its data collection was cross-sectional; For its development, 130 patients who attended the Dental Center were evaluated and two surveys were used: the first for the quality of care with 22 questions and the second for the level of satisfaction with 20 questions, which was measured by a valued score on a Likert scale. Objectives: To determine the relationship between the quality of care and satisfaction of users of the gynecology and obstetrics service of the José AgurtoTello Hospital in Chosica in 2019. Material and Methods: “Investigation of an observational, correlational and crosssectional quantitative approach where the relationship between the quality of care and satisfaction of the users of the obstetrics-gynecology service is analyzed”. Therefore, the objective was: To estimate the association betweenjquality of careland external userlsatisfaction inlthe clinical laboratory servicelof a private clinic, Lima 2020. Methodology: The research is applied with anquantitative approach, correlational level, observational and cross-sectionalndesign. The population studied was the users attended at the clinical laboratory service of a private clinic where the sample was 220 users, to whom a self-made quality of care questionnaire and a userjsatisfaction questionnaire adapted from the SERVPERF model were applied. The information obtained waslanalyzed with IBMlSPSS Statistics 23.0 software and Spearman's correlationlcoefficient waslused for hypothesis testing. Results: Of the users surveyed, 69.1% rated the quality provided as high, with the highest rated dimension being human quality (71.8%); likewise, 73.6% oflthe users stated thatlthey were satisfied and within this, the dimensions with the highest satisfaction were empathy (73.2%) and safety (73.1%). The research methodology with a quantitative, non-experimental approach, of correlational design and cross-sectional section. The survey technique was applied, collecting information from two questionnaires for each variable: Quality and satisfaction from 22 and 20 questions respectively with their respective dimensions, with alternative responses on the Likert-type scale. For the validation of the instrument, the validity of the content was submitted to the judgment of five experts who concluded that in their opinion it is sufficient and applicable with a V AIKEN of 1.0, in turn, for the reliability analysis the Cron Bach Alpha was used. coefficient was 0.95 for quality and 0.89 for satisfaction. The study population consisted of 234 blood donors from the Edgardo Rebagliati National Hospital. SPSS version 26.0 was used for the descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results are presented in tables and figures, the predominant data being the Spermann coefficient (rho) between the degree of correlation between quality vs satisfaction was 0.684, with p <0.05; 95% I.C. For the sample the STAT statistical package was used, we were shown a sample of 261 users to be surveyed. Using stratified simple random type sampling, it was randomly selected to obtain each stratum (consultation). Results: In the analysis of correlation between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of the external user. Material and Method: The study is of an application type, quantitative approach, correlational scope, non-experimental design and cross-sectional design. The total population was 120 hospitalized patients. Two Likert scale instruments were used. Results: There is a significant positive correlation between the variables of quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction, with a correlation coefficient of 0.878. Conclusions: It is evident that there are significant positive relationships between the dimensions of the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction, showing ratio coefficients of 0.891, 0.863 and 0.881 for the satisfaction relationships with the human, technical and scientific dimension, respectively. These statistics show the favorable consequence of providing quality nursing care in patient satisfaction. The objective of the study was to evaluate the correlation between the operative and assistance quality in emergency prehospital of a private ambulance in Lima. An observational cross-sectional study carried, taking all urgency and emergency calls that entered the regulatory center in November 2016, obtaining 255 cases. The average (variance) of each group compared using the ANOVA test, medians were compared with the Kruskal Wallis test; Student's T was used to evaluate distance and ANOVA to evaluate time. The correlation was evaluated using R of Pearson and Spearman, considering a level of significance of 5%. As a result, 61.5% of the population was female, the average age was 35.81±23.76 years and the ambulance's average distance of 9.21±17.58 km., The average response time to emergency was 34.69±17.58 minutes related to the distance (p=0.002). The average call reception was 0.68±0.32 minutes and the dispatch time was 0.72±0.35 minutes. Only 3 emergency response performed ≤ 8 minutes (1.17%) and 40 were between 9 to 19 minutes (p˂0.00). For priority I the average response times was 30.10 ± 15.65 minutes and for priority II of 33.64±17.48 minutes (p˂0.339). The patient satisfaction, 86% agreed with the time taken to receive the call, 96.7% agreed with the assistance provided, however, in the emergency response time only 66% were obtained. On the other hand, the management process has as an approach to organize assistance and provide the qualification of nursing personnel through continuing education, appropriating for this, the models and methods of administration, the work force of nursing and of permanent equipment and materials. (Willing, 2002) The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the level of knowledge and practice on the aspiration of secretions by nurses and their relationship with the prevention of intrahospital infections in patients intubated in the intensive care unit of the National Hospital Arzobispo Loayza. Lima Peru. We worked with a sample of 30 of a population of 50 nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital Arzobispo Loayza. Among the most frequent adverse events are falls and diaper rash, which are priority indicators established by the Ministry of Health. In the Pediatric Medicine Service of the Daniel Alcides Carrión National Hospital, recurrent cases of these events were observed, mainly associated with inadequate maternal practices during hospitalization, such as poor perineal hygiene, improper diaper use, and insufficient safety measures to prevent falls. In response to this situation, in February 2014 the educational program “Participating Mother” was implemented, targeting mothers of hospitalized children under five years of age, with the aim of improving their knowledge and preventive practices. The study had a quantitative, longitudinal, and quasi-experimental design, with a sample of 103 mothers. Data collection was carried out before and after the intervention through interviews and observation, using a questionnaire and an observation guide validated by expert judgment. The assumption made was that the education program is effective in improving the level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer in young adults - Trujillo 2014. The research design corresponds to a quantitative study, quasi-experimental, prospective, longitudinal to measure the effectiveness of an educational program on knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer, the results of measurement of the variables are given in numerically. The population consisted of 40 women aged 20 to 40 who belong to the club of mothers Neighborhood 1B - Trujillo Alto, the current sample includes the entire population. Two surveys were used: one is the level of knowledge about prevention of cervical cancer, and other, preventive practice of cervical cancer. We conclude that the education program is effective in improving the level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer in young adults, Area 1B - Trujillo Alto. The level of knowledge and practice on prevention of cervical cancer increases after participating in the educational program for young adults. The type of research was experimental. The sample consisted of 46 teachers, 93 caregivers and 93 children in three schools in the Ventanilla district. The results reported that there is a difference between the mean of the knowledge score before and after applying the POS, P <0.05. That is to say, in the experimental group after the POS the professors developed significant advances in oral health knowledge. Likewise, differences were found between the mean of the knowledge score before and after applying the POS, P <0.05 that is, in the experimental group after the POS in caregivers developed significant advances in oral health knowledge. The results also reported that there is a difference between the mean of the score and knowledge before and after applying the POS, according to the value obtained from the statistic (p <0.05). That is, in the experimental group after POS in children developed significant advances in oral health knowledge. A difference was found between the mean of the IHOS score before and after applying the POS, (p <0.05). That is to say, in the experimental group after the POS in caregivers it was evidenced that significant advances were developed in the IHOS. It was found that oral health knowledge in caregivers, teachers and children of the experimental group is greater than oral health knowledge in the group (p <0.05), as well as the IHO of the experimental group in children in relation to the group. control. The study of applied type and experimental level, used an experimental design with pre-test and post-test and control group to test the hypotheses in a sample consisting of 30 students from the experimental group and 15 from the control group randomly assigned among a population of adolescent students from the fourth and fifth grade of Secondary Education of the mentioned educational institution. For the data collection regarding the dependent variable, a structured lingual cover observation guide was used based on the Winkel index that presents standardized values. As a result of the quantitative measurement before treatment, it was found that both groups (experimental and of control) presented averages of 10.83 points in the Winkel index in the case of the experimental group and 10.87 points in the case of the control group. After treatment, the average onset located in the severe cover segment went to 3.03 points on the fifth day of consumption, while in the case of the control group on the fifth day it registered 11.13 points. For this purpose, the E. faecalis (ATCC 29212) strains were reactivated and used in the two stages of the study.1. Determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of both essential oils. 2. Determination of the inhibitory effect of these essential oils compared to antimicrobial substances used in pulp therapy. In the first stage, it was found that the CMM of muña essential oil was 10% and the CMM of the oregano essential oil was 30%. In the second stage, E. faecalis were seeded in 56 petri dishes containing Mueller Hinton culture medium with wells of 6mms. of diameter filled with 100 ml of 100% and 10% (CMI) muña essential oil,30% and 100% (CMI) of oregano essential oil, sodium hypochlorite al 5%, chlorhexidine gel at 2% and chlorhexidine solution al 2%, Calcifar - P ® y Tween 20. The petris were incubated at 37 ° C performing the measurement of the inhibition halos with a Vernier caliper or caliper rule at 24 and 48 hours. For the statistics analysis ANOVA and Tukey tests were used. The present investigation is descriptive, explanatory, based on the efficacy of the monitoring of the clinical histories of patients with urinary tract infection, attended at the PNP National Hospital Luis N. Sáenz, observing time and resources dilation, having a focus qualitative. The research includes a population of 233 clinical records of patients with a diagnosis of urinary tract infection, and the sample is non-probabilistic, which responds to the interest and intentionality of the researchers, to contribute to the problems presented in said hospital; Using our unintended probabilistic sampling. Lima 2021.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-18) Machicao Curazi, Natali; Vallejos Muñoz, Orlando Omar; Bonilla Asalde, Cesar AntonioThis research aims to determine the factors associated with adherence to physical rehabilitation treatments in cancer patients from the National Institute of Neoplasm Diseases, Lima 2021, specifically socioeconomic, provider, therapy and patient factors. The applied method was hypothetico-deductive, quantitative approach, applied type of correlational scope, non-experimental design, cross-sectional. The research took place in the area of the Functional Team of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the National Institute of Neoplasm Diseases, the population consisted of cancer patients, 175 of them met the inclusion criteria, selected through non-probabilistic and convenience sampling. The instruments were validated by expert judgment, with acceptable reliability (Cronbach Alpha = 0.681). The association was evaluated with the Chi-square test, finding a p value <0.05 (X2 = 49.449), the differences between patients with adherence and without adherence to treatment regarding to the associated factors were evaluated with the non-parametric MannWhitney test, detecting a p value <0.05 (U = 539.500). 88.5% showed adherence to physical rehabilitation treatments, of which 85.2% had an advantage to generate behaviors compatible with adherence. The conclusion was that socioeconomic, provider, therapy and patient factors are associated with adherence to physical rehabilitation treatments in cancer patients.
