Publicación Acceso abierto Aplicación de herramientas de aprendizaje en ambientes virtuales para fortalecer el pensamiento geométrico en estudiantes de primaria de Barrancabermeja, Colombia- 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-06-25) Santos, María Carolina; Huaita Acha, Delsi MarielaThe low results achieved by Colombian students in national and international tests in mathematics are known, therefore, and as an improvement plan, all educational institutions have set out to improve the quality of the provision of educational services. That is why this research seeks to determine to what extent the application of learning tools in virtual environments strengthens Geometric Thinking in fifth grade students of the Jhon F. Kennedy Educational Institution in Barrancabermeja, Colombia in 2019. The research had a quantitative approach, with a quasiexperimental design, which set the objective of measuring the incidence of one variable under study under the effect of another in a school context. It was used in a survey by means of a questionnaire to collect information on the teaching-learning process of mathematics, which took into account the informational and practical dimensions, use of didactic resources, evaluation and accompaniment, and attitudinal; and a knowledge test that included the first three levels of the Van Hiele model. Statistical methods were used for data analysis, and Student's t-test for hypothesis tests. Finally, as a result, it was possible to determine that the application of learning tools in virtual environments favorably affects the development of geoometric thinking of fifth-grade primary school students at the John F. Kenendy educational institution, and as a conclusion it was established that the The application of learning tools in virtual environments improved the level of performance of the development of geometric thinking in the fifth grade students of the John F. Kenendy Institution in the two experimental groups, since according to the post-test tests, a significant difference was found of means for the control and experimental groups, thereby accepting the general alternative hypothesis raised.Publicación Acceso abierto Aplicación de mentefactos conceptuales para desarrollar aprendizaje significativo de conceptos sociales en estudiantes de grado noveno, Colombia – 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-29) Avila Martínez, Rosa Antonia; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadThe research sought for determining what extent the application of conceptual facts develops meaningful learning of social concepts in ninth grade students of the I.E. Pio Alberto Ferro Peña 2020. It is a quantitative, applied research, with an experimental design and a quasi-experimental level. I worked with a population of 500 students, corresponding to the secondary section of the I.E. mentioned and with a sample of 80 students. Reliability was determined through Cronbach's alpha, with a value of 0.825. The validation of the instruments was carried out through the judgment of experts. Statistically, through the Mann Whitney U test at a significance level of 0.05, it was found that the application of “mentefactos conceptuales“ influences the development of meaningful learning of social concepts in the population under study.Publicación Acceso abierto El aprendizaje de la matemática y los procesos cognitivos en la solución de tareas con razones trigonométricas en la Institución Educativa Pompilio Martínez de Cajicá, Colombia(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-06-22) Romero Agudelo, Marta Lilia; Flores Coronado, Miriam LilianaThe present investigation entitled the "The learning of mathematics and cognitive processes in the solution of tasks with trigonometric ratios in the educational institution Pompilio Martínez de Cajicá, Colombia". The general objective was to establish the relationship between cognitive processes and the learning of mathematics in tenth grade students of the educational institute, Pompilio Martínez of Cajicá, when they solve tasks of trigonometric ratios, mediated by the pedagogical planning of didactic units. The research is quantitative, with a quasi-experimental design of descriptive transactional type. We worked with a sample of 299 students representing 22% of the population of the school. To collect the information, each student was given a multiple-choice questionnaire with a single true answer. The level of validity and degree of confidentiality was measured with test-retest and expert validation. Then, for the implementation of the didactic unit of trigonometric reasons seen through multiple lenses of the sample, a group of thirty, tenth grade students was taken. The results of the questionnaire allow to affirm that 48% of the students of the sample managed to highlight the dimensions of the learning of mathematics and the dimensions of the cognitive processes but 52% of the students have difficulties to raise and answer their own questions of mathematics. The results of the final evaluation of trigonometric ratios, revealed that 74% of the students of the experimental group learned the subject of trigonometric reasons, while, the control group only 49%, showed learning of the subject. From the research, it is concluded that there is a relationship between cognitive processes and the learning of mathematics, in tenth grade students of the educational institution, Pompilio Martínez, Cajica, Colombia; when they solve tasks with trigonometric ratios mediated by the pedagogical planning of didactic units.Publicación Acceso abierto Competencias digitales y aprendizaje autónomo en la cultura investigativa de los estudiantes universitarios de una universidad peruana, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-02-15) Espinoza Herrera, Edward; Palacios Garay, Jessica PaolaThe thesis explains the subject of research culture in the university context. Its general objective is to establish how digital competences and autonomous learning influence the research culture of university law students belonging to the last three cycles of a Peruvian university; In this sense, the specific objectives are to determine how digital skills and autonomous learning influence the dimensions: research training and, investigative activity and research competence. The study materials considered are fundamentally of a bibliographic nature for the elaboration of the antecedents and the theoretical framework; Likewise, the selected university students constitute a valuable source of information regarding the questionnaires that they must solve as part of the project. The method considered is the hypothetical-deductive one in relation to the proposed quantitative approach; Likewise, the use of a non-experimental design is proposed, with an correlational-causal level. The results obtained show that digital competences and autonomous learning significantly influence the research culture. Among the conclusions, it is highlighted the need to strengthen the research culture of university students with an impact on science and technology research.Publicación Acceso abierto Desarrollo de la didáctica en el pensamiento crítico de los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje con estudiantes de una institución educativa en Colombia - 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-26) Mosquera Murillo, Carmen Rosa; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadThe objective of the study was to evaluate the level of critical thinking and the use of didactics in the teaching-learning processes with elementary school students of the Diego Hernández de Gallegos Educational Institution in Barrancabermeja, Colombia2020. A basic type research with a qualitative approach and phenomenological hermeneutical design was applied, which sought to explore, describe and understand the phenomenon based on the experiences of the participants; In this way, didactics were studied in order to investigate the level of critical thinking of elementary school students and their conceptions on the subject. A non-probabilistic sample and convenience sampling were used; A semi-structured interview and a checklist were used with a sample of 10 students and 3 teachers from the educational institution. The results showed students that they did not carry out in-depth analyzes, nor did they explain their point of view to propose alternative solutions to surrounding situations. The teachers were aware that, with motivating, contextualized didactic actions and making use of the levels of understanding, the development of critical thinking was enhanced. It was concluded that the level of critical thinking of elementary school students is developing because it is difficult for them to argue their ideas clearly and reasonably; The use of organized didactic strategies, with the approach to real situations that motivate students to emit reflections and arguments, are ideal in the formation of critical thinkers.Publicación Acceso abierto Efectividad del programa de robótica “stem” en el aprendizaje del área de matemática en estudiantes de grado séptimo en la Institución Educativa Policarpa Salavarrieta, Girardot, Colombia, 2016(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-04-18) Flores Salcedo, Adriana Patricia; Quipas Belliza, Mariella MargotThis document is the result of the research project: EFFECTIVENESS OF THE "STEM" ROBOTICS PROGRAM IN THE LEARNING OF THE MATHEMATICAL AREA IN SEVENTH-GRADUATE STUDENTS IN THE POLICARPA SALAVARRIETA EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION, where the students showed their previous knowledge in subjects such as English, natural sciences, physics, mathematics and technology, manipulating the robot, elaborating mathematical calculations and consequently programming from it, this to strengthen their knowledge and see a practical use of learning. The methodology used allowed the comparison of the variables under study. This relationship allows explaining the effects that can affect the learning of mathematics through the use of tools such as robotics. From a population of 40 students, a non-probabilistic sample was taken, for the convenience of 16 students, of which 8 were submitted (Experimental Group) to the application of the robotic intervention program and the other 8 were not submitted (Control Group). Subsequently, both groups were tested for the effectiveness of the STEM robotics program. From the process it was possible to confirm the effectiveness of the application of the STEM robotics program, in seventh grade students of secondary school of the Policarpa Salavarrieta Educational Institution, 2016, of the municipality of Girardot, Cundinamarca, Colombia, as a mechanism for the learning of the maths. In the same way, the null hypothesis was verified, which has been accepted, which evidenced that there is no significant difference in the learning of mathematics once the STEM robotics intervention program has been developed. Finally, it is concluded that taking into account that the level of complexity of teaching mathematics in seventh grade for the development of the intervention program in robotics, is more advanced in relation to the curriculum contained in the PEI (Educational Institutional Plan) of the institution and although the thematic contents in this course are related to the competences demanded by the Ministry of Education, the level of deepening is greater and generally, it costs the students to completely assimilate said concepts. However, they are basic knowledge required to achieve the objective of the program and this requires an additional effort for the participants in the intervention program.Publicación Acceso abierto Estilos de aprendizaje y los niveles del rendimiento académico en la capacidad del estudiante universitario, en una universidad peruana en Lima - 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-06-23) Briones Linares, Tania; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between learning styles and levels of academic performance of courses in the area of Microbiology in the capacity of the undergraduated students of Clinical Laboratory and Pathological Anatomy of the Alas Peruanas University of the academic semester 2019 -1.
