Health professionals are exposed to various ergonomic risk factors for occupational health, partly due to direct contact with patients, but also because of the particularities of the job. Among the most common physical risk factors are postural alterations, repetitive movements, prolonged postures, and improper handling of tools or implements used in the workplace. Exposure to these risk factors can lead to musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, ergonomic risk factors—the likelihood of suffering damage or injury due to conditions directly associated with the workplace—are not foreign to this group and tend to be high. Preventive measures should aim to reduce ergonomic risk to safeguard the worker's physical health as well as other affected areas.Ítem Acceso abierto Ergonomic risk level and musculoskeletal disorders in teachers at the i.e.p “Pedro Enrique Gonzales Soto”, Ate 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-16) Centeno Soto, Beatriz Vilma; Arrieta Córdova, Andy FreudErgonomic risks lead to musculoskeletal disorders, especially from forced postures, repetitive movements, continuous force application, and manual load handling at the workplace.
