The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a relationship between the research attitude and the achievement of skills of tourism students at Norbert Wiener University, 2019 I. The research approach is quantitative; Type of research is substantive; the level of research is descriptive-correlational; cross section. Its non-experimental design; that which explains the correlation between the variables research attitude and achievement of skills in the training of tourism students of Administration in Tourism and Hospitality of the Wiener University. The sample is made up of 80 Tourism students from the Professional Academic School of Tourism and Hospitality at Norbert Wiener University. The data collection technique applied was the survey, the instruments were, the questionnaire for students on research attitude and the questionnaire for students on the achievement of skills. In the hypothesis test, Spearman's correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlations since the sample follows a normal distribution; it was determined that there is a statistically significant relationship between the research attitude and the achievement of competencies of Tourism 2019 I students, obtaining a correlation of 0.912, with a significance level of 0.000. Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted. Keywords: research attitude, achievement of skills; tourist activity.

Aprendizaje basado en investigación y habilidades investigativas en discentes de Terapia Física y Rehabilitación de una universidad privada de Lima, 2022

The main objective of this work is to determine the relationship between research-based learning and investigative skills in physical therapy and rehabilitation students at a private university in Lima, 2022; which was carried out under the hypothetical - deductive method with a quantitative approach and the non-experimental design with a cross-sectional and barrier cut; Likewise, the employee was 106 students from the I to the VIII cycle of a private university in Lima. For data collection, two survey-type instruments were used, which were validated by 5 experts who qualified them as applicable instruments; Similarly, acquire high reliability, with Cronbach's alpha of 0.952 for the instrument that measures research-based learning (ABI), and 0.934 for the instrument that measures investigative skills. Within this order of ideas, descriptive studies were carried out, exposing that the ABI variable reached a high level with 52.8%, while the investigative skills variable reached a moderately adequate level with a value of 74.5%; similarly, the inferential results revealed a low positive connection according to the Rho Spearman coefficient of 0.313. Now, the ABI and investigative skills present a significant relationship, however, it is concluded that the ABI should be more widespread and used in teaching sessions and promote them as a learning strategy.

Asertividad e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Lima, 2025

Objective: To determine the association between assertiveness and emotional intelligence in students of a private university in Lima, 2025. Method: A quantitative, cross sectional, and correlational study was conducted with 160 students. Assertiveness was measured using the Gambrill and Richey Assertiveness Inventory (IAG-R), where higher scores indicate lower assertiveness, and emotional intelligence was assessed with the TMMS-24 scale, where higher scores reflect greater emotional intelligence. Spearman’s correlation was applied. Results: The median age was 20 years (range: 18–36), with 45.0% male and 55.0% female, mostly from the Coast region (76.9%). A significant negative correlation was found between assertiveness and emotional intelligence (Rho = -0.348; p < 0.001), indicating that greater assertiveness (lower IAG-R scores) is associated with higher emotional intelligence. All assertiveness dimensions also showed significant correlations (Rho = -0.206 to -0.343; p < 0.01). Conclusion: In this population, higher assertiveness is related to greater emotional intelligence, highlighting the importance of promoting assertive and emotional skills within the university context.

Autoconcepto académico y su nivel de relación con la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de una universidad nacional - 2022

In this research, the objective was to determine the level of relationship between academic self-concept and emotional intelligence at the National University of Cañete in the professional career of Systems Engineering of III, IV and V cycles; being the applied basic type research, correlational descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional. The population was 120 university students whose sample was non-probabilistic. The instruments used were the AF5 self-concept and for emotional intelligence Trait Meta Mood Scale-24. The results show that there are positive correlations between academic self-concept and emotional intelligence, as well as a significant relationship between academic self-concept and the dimensions: emotional attention, emotional clarity and emotional repair.

Competencias digitales e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana, 2022

Las competencias digitales e inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de enfermería se consolidan como un conjunto de habilidades para manejar la tecnología digital en el contexto clínico, como la telemedicina, las capacidades socioemocionales para regular las emociones y adaptarse al entorno virtual demandante en la actualidad. El objetivo fue establecer la influencia de competencias digitales en la inteligencia emocional de los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana. Para dicho fin se siguió un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, transversal, nivel correlacional causal. La población estuvo conformada por 1524 estudiantes de una universidad privada; la muestra fue de 101 estudiantes de enfermería, muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La confiabilidad del instrumento a través de Alfa de Cronbach para competencias digitales fue de 0.799; para la variable inteligencia emocional fue 0.850. Para el análisis de los datos, se empleó estadística descriptiva e inferencial, para estimar el grado de influencia; regresión logística ordinal. Los resultados evidenciaron que las competencias digitales influyen de manera significativa en la inteligencia emocional según Nagelkerke, con 0.200, que equivale al 20%. Se concluye que las competencias digitales influyen de manera significativa en la inteligencia emocional en los estudiantes de enfermería, lo cual evidencia que el dominio de las herramientas digitales no solo fortalece el desempeño académico, sino que también contribuye al desarrollo de las habilidades socioemocionales.

Entornos virtuales de aprendizaje y habilidades socioemocionales en estudiantes de medicina humana de una universidad privada de Lima, 2024

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between virtual learning environments and socio-emotional skills in human medicine students from a private university in Lima. The methodology used was quantitative, correlational level, non experimental, cross-sectional design. For data collection, previously validated and reliable instruments were used in a sample of 95 students chosen through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The results obtained were p value = 0.013 and Rho = 0.255; that is, there is a positive relationship between the study variables, at a low level. It was concluded that a better use of virtual learning environments leads to a greater development of socio emotional skills.

Factores de riesgo asociados a la anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 35 meses de edad que asisten al hospital Carlos Lanfranco la Hoz, Lima 2021

La anemia ferropénica afecta a cerca de la mitad de niños de entre 6 y 35 meses de edad en el Perú, trayendo consigo alteraciones en su crecimiento físico, psicológico y socioemocional; además, de provocar retraso en su desarrollo psicomotor y problemas de aprendizaje e inteligencia; en tal sentido se requiere de una intervención inmediata por parte de los decisores de la salud, a fin de reducirla y prevenirla. En este escenario, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo “determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a la anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 35 meses de edad que asisten al Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, Lima 2021”. Investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, diseño correlacional y prospectivo, que se llevará acabo con 173 niños que presenten dosaje de hemoglobina <11 gr/dl, y que acuden al consultorio de control de crecimiento y desarrollo del Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz. Se utilizará como técnica el análisis documental de las historias clínicas y como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos para determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a la anemia ferropénica.

Factores personales y su relación con el rendimiento académico en estudiantes del VII y VIII ciclo de la Escuela de Psicología de una universidad privada de Lima, 2020

This research work addresses the study of personal factors and their relationship with academic performance in students of the VII and VIII cycle of the School of Psychology of a Private University of Lima, 2020; in order to determine the relationship between personal factors with academic performance. Research of non-experimental type applied design, hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional approach with a sample of 86 students of non-probabilistic sampling, aged between 17 and 50 years, where 84% are of the gender female and only the remaining 16% belong to males. The measurement instruments used were the BarOn Emotional Quotient Inventory (I-CE), whose original name is: EQ-I YV BarOn. Emotional Quotient Inventory, built by Reuven BarOn (1997), adapted in Peru by Dr. Nelly Ugarriza (2001); and the grade records issued by the teachers who evaluated the first semester 2020. The statistical analysis of the variables was performed using Spearman's correlation, confirming the general hypothesis that there is a significant relationship between the study variables, personal factors and performance academic, with a moderate positive correlation (Rho = + 0.681 and Sig. Level = 0.000), in students of the VII and VIII cycle of the School of Psychology of a Private University of Lima.

Implementación de inteligencia de negocios para mejorar la toma de decisiones en una empresa de telecomunicaciones, Lima 2025

El presente estudio, fundamentado para sustentar la suficiencia profesional tuvo como objetivo principal la implementación de inteligencia de negocios para mejorar la toma de decisiones en una empresa de telecomunicaciones. Como parte de los procesos, el estudio tiene la variable de inteligencia de negocios, la cual se apoya en diversas teorías académicas como la teoría de data warehousing y modelado dimensional, la teoría de la arquitectura empresarial de inteligencia de negocios y la teoría de la inteligencia organizacional. Por otra parte, la variable relacionada con la toma de decisiones cuenta como soporte de la teoría de la toma de decisiones racionales, la teoría de la prospectiva y la teoría de la toma de decisiones organizacional. Así mismo, para el desarrollo de la implementación, se empleó la metodología CRIPS-DM, que permitió llevar a cabo todas las etapas necesarias para la implementación de inteligencia de negocios y optimizar así el proceso de toma de decisiones en la empresa. Se debe agregar que, toda esta implementación se basó en mi experiencia y dedicación de 1 año y medio en la empresa como responsable del área de tecnología de la información (TI) para el sector de telecomunicaciones. Como parte de los resultados, llevé cabo el proceso de manera directa en todas las etapas, obteniendo como producto final un dashboard para la gestión de tickets. Esto permitió en tener la información centralizada, automatizado, reducción de tiempos y errores humanos al generar informas para las áreas o gerencia y sobre todo en la mejora de la toma decisiones basado en datos, lo que a su vez optimizó la atención al soporte de los usuarios y contribuyó al aumento de la rentabilidad de la empresa.

Inteligencia comercial y competitividad de una empresa del sector papelería, San Juan de Miraflores 2024

En la actual investigación titulada " Inteligencia comercial y competitividad de una empresa del sector papelería, San Juan de Miraflores 2024", se persigue el objetivo general de "Determinar la relación entre la inteligencia comercial y la competitividad en una empresa del sector papelería, San Juan de Miraflores 2024". Más adelante, la investigación adoptó el método hipotético-deductivo, aplicando un enfoque cuantitativo. Se empleó un diseño no experimental, de tipo correlacional, con un nivel descriptivo y un corte transversal. Los instrumentos demostraron una excelente confiabilidad, con un coeficiente de alfa de Cronbach de 0.902 para la inteligencia comercial y de 0.806 para la competitividad. A 50 colaboradores se les administran dos herramientas para evaluar la conexión entre la inteligencia comercial y el cálculo de la competitividad. Los descubrimientos revelaron, a través de análisis estadísticos, una conexión significativa con un coeficiente de Pearson de 826 entre la inteligencia de negocios que se pueden restablecer y el cálculo de la competitividad. Se concluye que hay una vinculación pertinente y clara entre la variable de inteligencia comercial y la evaluación de la competitividad.

Inteligencia de negocios para mejorar la toma de decisiones en el área comercial de una empresa retail, Lima 2024

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar como la Inteligencia de Negocios mejora la toma de decisiones en el área comercial de una empresa Retail, Lima 2024. Consecuentemente, desde la perspectiva metodológica se basó en un estudio tipo aplicado, con un diseño experimental de nivel pre-experimental y enfoque cuantitativo. Asimismo, se usó seis fichas de observación como instrumento de investigación para analizar durante cuatro semanas la aplicación de la herramienta de inteligencia de negocios. Los resultados inferenciales evidenciaron el alto nivel de significancia de las hipótesis de la investigación, ya que obtuvieron un p-valor menor a 0.05 mediante la prueba de T-Student, reafirmando que la inteligencia de negocios mejora la toma de decisiones en el área comercial de una empresa Retail, Lima 2024. Se concluye que al aplicar la solución de inteligencia de negocios generó reportes más certeros con información precisa y actualizada, omitiendo los sesgos cognitivos al momento de tomar decisiones basada en datos, lo cual resulta en una significativa mejora en el área comercial.

Research on Emotional Intelligence and Self-regulated Learning in Nursing Care students in Neonatology at Norbert Wiener Private University, 2019 - Lima. The objective was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-regulated learning. The research carried out has a quantitative approach, measuring the variables using the research instruments where the results were expressed in numerical values with their respective statistical analysis. The research design is non-experimental cross-sectional. It is of the applied type because a specific topic is investigated and its results are directed to an immediate use, complementing it with future research and not the development of theories. The study design is correlational, since it was only sought to determine the existence of the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-regulated learning, cross-sectional since the data was collected in a single moment that they obtained from the Trait Meta-Mode Scale TMMS- 24 for emotional intelligence and the Inventory of IPAA learning self-regulation processes for self-regulated learning applied to students of the second specialty program Nursing Care in Neonatology - 2019. The statistical correlation results indicate that emotional intelligence and self-regulated learning are significantly related to a value of Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient equal to 0.283 ** and a level of significance equal to 0.021 which indicates that there is a moderate positive correlation. Thus we have that there is a greater correlation between the emotional clarity dimension of the emotional intelligence variable and self-regulated learning with a correlation coefficient 0.388 ** and a significance level of 0.001 which indicates that there is a moderate positive correlation.

In sum, a study with a quantitative approach, whose general objective is to analyze the level of relationship between emotional intelligence and self-regulated learning in language and literature students of a public university of Ica in 2023. The study population was 100 students belonging to the first to third academic cycle of the academic school in question, thus a sample of 80 students chosen by non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The instruments were the Trait Meta-Mood Scale questionnaire (TMM-24) and the Inventory of Self-Regulation of Learning Processes (IPAA). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and selfregulated learning in language and literature students at a public university in Ica, 2023.

Inteligencia emocional y competencias ciudadanas en los cadetes de la Policía Nacional del Perú, 2024

The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and civic competencies in cadets of the National Police of Peru, 2024. The approach was quantitative, basic type, non-experimental design and correlational level. The sampling technique used was non-probabilistic for convenience, the sample consisted of 141 fourth-year cadets to whom previously validated and reliable questionnaires were applied. The results showed that 4.3% of the total cadets considered themselves to have a low level of emotional intelligence, 27.7% a regular level and 68.1% a high level. Regarding the civic competencies variable, 2.8% considered themselves to have a low level, while 34% a regular level and 63.1% a high level. Likewise, the statistical result obtained was p = 0.000 < 0.05; rho = 0.518, which means that there is a positive relationship and of considerable intensity. It was concluded that a greater development of emotional intelligence leads to a greater development of civic competencies in the cadets of the National Police of Peru.

Inteligencia emocional y competencias socio emocionales en estudiantes de obstetricia de una universidad de Lima 2022

The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and socio-emotional competencies in students of the professional school of obstetrics of a public university in Lima, the research method was hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, the type of research was basic, non-experimental design, crosssectional and correlational level. The sampling was non-probabilistic and it was studied in a sample of 166 students, the technique used for data collection was the survey, the Trait MetaMood Scale (TMMS-24) was used to measure emotional intelligence and the inventory of competencies Emotional Skills for Adults (ICSE) for socio-emotional competencies. In the results obtained, the p value found was 0.000, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and it was accepted that there is a correlation between emotional intelligence and socio-emotional competencies. With a Pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.534, it was concluded that emotional intelligence is correlated with socio-emotional competencies with a medium positive relationship, that is, that students who perceive an adequate and high level of emotional intelligence develop socio-emotional competencies. at an adequate and excellent level, which will allow them a successful performance in the handling and management of their emotions in addition to developing necessary skills in the interrelation with their environment.

La inteligencia emocional y el desempeño laboral en estudiantes de segunda especialidad de emergencias y desastres en una Universidad Privada de Lima,2021

Objective: The purpose of this research study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance in emergency and disaster second-specialty students at a private university in Lima 2021. Methodology: Applied research type, quantitative approach, observational (non-experimental), descriptive, correlational, prospective and cross-sectional research design. With a sample consisting of 95 students of the aforementioned specialty. The instrument used to assess Emotional Intelligence was the ECI (Emotional Competence Inventory) adapted by Gleydi Ciscely Herrera Farfán in 2017, which is made up of 37 items, considers the dimensions Self-regulation, Motivation, Empathy and Social Skills, the instrument that was used to measure job performance was created by Yabar in 2016, which is composed of 25 items, considers the dimensions: job satisfaction, teamwork, compensation and benefits, communication and essential functions. Results: A significant relationship was found between emotional intelligence and job performance, since the significance was 0.000 < 0.05 and Spearman's Rho was 0.548. Conclusion: Emotional intelligence is directly related to job performance in emergency and disaster second-specialty students from a private university in Lima 2021.

Inteligencia emocional y engagement académico en estudiantes de enfermería en una universidad privada de Lima, 2024

The well-being and engagement of students in academic environments is closely linked to the role that emotions play. So, this research had the objective: to establish the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic engagement of nursing students at a private university in Lima, 2024. Material and method: The study used the hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and correlational descriptive level, the sample was made up of 124 nursing students. To collect the information, two duly validated instruments were used, one of them called the TMMS Questionnaire 24 and to measure academic engagement the Utrech Work Engagement Scale (UWES). Results: A high positive correlation was found between the variables emotional intelligence and academic engagement with a Spearman's Rho = 0.466**; The existence of a moderate and direct correlation was also found between the dimensions of the first variable with academic engagement. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and academic engagement.

Inteligencia emocional y estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima, 2024

El estudio planteó como objetivo establecer la relación entre inteligencia emocional y estilos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada. La investigación realizada fue de enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, corte transversal y correlacional, la muestra la conformaron 85 estudiantes, como instrumentos se aplicaron el cuestionario Escala Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) adaptado por Espinoza-Venegas et al. (2015) y el cuestionario adaptado de estilos de aprendizaje (CAMEA40) por Madrigal y Trujillo (2014). Como resultado se logró establecer la relación entre los estilos de aprendizaje y la inteligencia emocional en estudiantes de enfermería (p<0.05 y rho= 0.648). Concluyendo al respecto que cuanto mejor se identifica el estilo que más les ayuda para su aprendizaje el desarrollo de su inteligencia emocional se ve favorecido en los estudiantes de enfermería de una universidad privada de Lima.

Inteligencia Emocional y Estilos de Aprendizaje en Estudiantes Universitarios de Lima Metropolitana, 2025

El estudio buscó analizar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y los estilos deaprendizaje en una muestra de estudiantes universitarios de Lima Metropolitana, 2025. Seadoptó un enfoque de tipo cuantitativo con carácter básico y diseño correlacional de cortetransversal. Participaron 100 estudiantes evaluados mediante dos instrumentos validados: elTrait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) para medir la inteligencia emocional y el CuestionarioHoney-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA). Los resultados evidenciaron unacorrelación positiva y estadísticamente significativa entre ambas variables (Rho = 0,531; p <0,001). A nivel dimensional, la reparación emocional mostró el vínculo más fuerte con losestilos de aprendizaje. Estos hallazgos permiten afirmar que el desarrollo emocional de losestudiantes influye en la forma en que asimilan y procesan el conocimiento.Palabras clave: Inteligencia emocional, estilos de aprendizaje, estudiantes universitarios.

The present research work aimed to evaluate the relationship between emotional intelligence and metacognitive strategies in second-specialty students in physical therapy and rehabilitation at a university in Lima, 2025. The study was developed under the hypothetical deductive method, of basic type, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and correlational scope. The sample consisted of 110 students, selected through non-probability convenience sampling. For data collection, two validated instruments were applied: the Trait Meta Mood Scale-24 (TMMS-24) and the Metacognitive Strategies Inventory. The results showed a positive, high and statistically significant correlation between emotional intelligence and metacognitive strategies (r = 0.736; p < 0.001), as well as significant correlations between each of the dimensions of emotional intelligence (emotional perception, understanding and regulation) and metacognitive strategies. In conclusion, it was determined that greater development of emotional intelligence favors the effective use of metacognitive strategies.
