Results: A negative and statistically significant correlation was found between internet addiction and physical activity (rho = –0.368; p = 0.00014). In addition, significant inverse correlations were observed between physical activity and the behavioral (rho = 0.331), emotional (rho = –0.356), social (rho = –0.402), and cognitive (rho = –0.379) dimensions of internet addiction (p < 0.01). Conclusion: There is a significant inverse relationship between internet addiction and physical activity, indicating that higher levels of internet addiction are associated with lower levels of physical activity among the students.
