Introducción: La adolescencia implica una etapa vulnerable frente a riesgos relacionados con la salud sexual y reproductiva, asociados a embarazos no planificados e infecciones de transmisión sexual. Objetivo: Determinar la efectividad del taller educativo “Crece con Confianza” en el nivel de conocimientos sobre salud sexual y reproductiva en adolescentes de la Institución Educativa Manuel Gonzales Prada, 2026. Metodología: El estudio tuvo enfoque cuantitativo y diseño cuasi experimental de tipo pretest y postest. La muestra estuvo conformada por 92 adolescentes. La información se recopiló mediante un cuestionario aplicado antes y después del taller educativo. Para el análisis se utilizó SPSS Statistics v27 y la prueba T de Student para muestras relacionadas. Resultados: Se evidenció un incremento significativo del nivel de conocimientos, pasando de 23.98 ± 2.46 en el pretest a 30.52 ± 2.02 en el postest (p < 0.05). Asimismo, se observaron mejoras significativas en conocimientos sobre infecciones de transmisión sexual y métodos anticonceptivos (p = 0.001). Conclusiones: El taller educativo “Crece con Confianza” resultó efectivo en el fortalecimiento de conocimientos sobre salud sexual y reproductiva en adolescentes.
Resumen
Introduction: Adolescence represented a vulnerable stage regarding risks associated with sexual and reproductive health, including unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the educational workshop “Growing with Confidence” on the level of knowledge about sexual and reproductive health among adolescents from Manuel Gonzales Prada Educational Institution, 2026. Methodology: The study had a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 92 adolescents. Data were collected through a questionnaire administered before and after the educational workshop. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Statistics v27 and Student’s t-test for related samples. Results: A significant increase in the level of knowledge was evidenced, rising from 23.98 ± 2.46 in the pretest to 30.52 ± 2.02 in the posttest (p < 0.05). Likewise, significant improvements were observed in knowledge regarding sexually transmitted infections and contraceptive methods (p = 0.001). Conclusions: The educational workshop “Growing with Confidence” proved to be effective in strengthening adolescents’ knowledge about sexual and reproductive health.
