The research work aims to determine how the perception of occupational risks and self-care of the professional nurse in the emergency area of the Maria Auxiliadora Hospital, Lima 2022. It used the methodology of the hypothetical deductive, descriptive method, of nonexperimental and correlational design, in a sample population of 80 nurses, who answered two questionnaires validated in previous research works; The occupational risk instrument obtained a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.752 and the professional self-care instrument with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.941, placing both instruments in high reliability. After the application of the instrument, the data treatment will be used in the statistical program SPSS version 28 to obtain descriptive and inferential results by means of the Chi Square statistical test, in order to contrast the hypothesis Hi= There is a statistically significant relationship between the perception of occupational risks and the self-care of the professional nurse in the emergency area of the María Auxiliadora Hospital, Lima 2022; managing to conclude with the relationship between the variables studied.
Resumen
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar objetivo determinar cómo la percepción de riesgos laborales se relaciona con el autocuidado del enfermero profesional en el área de emergencia del Hospital María Auxiliadora, Lima 2022. Empleó la metodología del método hipotético deductivo, descriptivo, de diseño no experimental y correlacional, en una población muestral de 80 enfermeros, quienes contestaron dos cuestionarios validados en trabajos previos de investigación; El instrumento de riesgo laboral obtuvo una confiabilidad de alfa de Cronbach de 0.752 y del instrumento de autocuidado profesional con alfa de Cronbach de 0.941, situándose ambos instrumentos en una confiabilidad alta. Después de la aplicación del instrumento, se empleará el tratamiento de datos en el programa estadístico SPSS versión 28 para la obtención de resultados descriptivos e inferenciales por medio de la prueba estadística de Chi Cuadrado, a fin de contrastar la hipótesis Hi= Existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre la percepción de riesgos laborales se relaciona con el autocuidado del enfermero profesional en el área de emergencia del Hospital María Auxiliadora, Lima 2022; logrando concluir con la relación entre las variables estudiadas.
