The investigation: “Use of the technologies of the information and the communication and the performance of the basic secondary’s teachers in the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán School. Tota - Boyacá 2016 ", had as aim determine the relation between Use of the technologies of the information and the communication and the performance of the teachers, implied approaching a methodology of descriptive type and correlacional, of quantitative character, the compilation of the information was realized by means of the application of a questionnaire, validated across the Technology Delphi and in reliability by means of a test of pilotage applied to 10 teachers with Alpha de Cronbach to determine the fulfillment or not of the hypothesis the method of the Chi-square was in use, indicating in what measure the relation exists between the variables. The results of the investigation demonstrated that every competition had a moderate level of use of the technology of the information and communication with 70 % the technological competitions, 47 % communicative competitions and also 47 % investigative competitions , as the relation with the educational performance was obtained statistically sufficiently by one p = <0,0001. Nevertheless the values expressed by competition were 0,986: technological, 0,985: Communicative and 0,944: investigative; in the lowest score they need more attention on the part of the teachers in the appropriation of the technological resources to maintain the strategies in the classroom and to improve the educational quality.
Resumen
La investigación titulada: “Uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y el desempeño de los docentes de educación básica secundaria en la Institución Educativa Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Tota - Boyacá 2016”, tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre Uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y el desempeño de los docentes, implicó abordar una metodología de tipo descriptivo y correlacional, de carácter cuantitativo, la recolección de la información se realizó mediante la aplicación de un cuestionario, validado a través de la Técnica Delphi y en confiabilidad por medio de una prueba de pilotaje aplicado a 10 docentes con Alpha de Cronbach; para determinar el cumplimiento o no de la hipótesis se utilizó el método del Chi-cuadrado, indicando en qué medida existe la relación entre las variables. Los resultados de la investigación evidenciaron que cada competencia tuvo un nivel moderado de uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación con el 70% las competencias tecnológicas, el 47% las competencias comunicativas y también el 47% las competencias investigativas; en cuanto a la relación con el desempeño docente se obtuvo estadísticamente suficiente con un p=<0,0001.No obstante los valores expresados por competencia fueron 0,986: tecnológica, 0,985: Comunicativa y 0,944: investigativa; en los puntajes más bajos requieren una atención por parte de los docentes en la apropiación de los recursos tecnológicos para nutrir las estrategias en el aula y mejorar la calidad educativa.
