Resumen
Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about tuberculosis and treatment adherence in patients at a Health Center in Los Olivos, 2021. Methodology: The research will use a hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach, a basic type, and a correlational design. The population will consist of 80 patients diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis, selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria defined in the study. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: To collect information on the variable "level of knowledge about tuberculosis," a survey technique will be applied, using an instrument with 28 items grouped into 4 dimensions. For the "treatment adherence" variable, a survey technique will also be used, with an instrument consisting of 13 items grouped into two dimensions. Procedures: Data will be collected from the Tuberculosis Control Program (TCP) at a Health Center in Los Olivos over a one-month period. Once the information is gathered, it will be processed using the SPSS statistical software, version 26. Statistical Analysis: Frequency tables, graphs, summary measures, and central tendency measures will be obtained. The hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman Rho correlation statistical test, with a significance level of p < 0.05.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre la tuberculosisy la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes en un Centro de Salud de Los Olivos,2021. Metodología: El método será hipotético–deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipobásico, diseño correlacional, la población será conformada por 80 pacientes condiagnóstico de tuberculosis pulmonar seleccionadas aplicando los criterios deinclusión y exclusión definidas en la investigación. Técnicas e instrumentos derecolección de datos: Para la recolección de información de la variable: Nivel deconocimiento sobre la tuberculosis será la técnica de la encuesta, con elinstrumento de 28 ítems agrupadas en 4 dimensiones. Para la recolección de lainformación de la variable: Adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con tuberculosisse aplicará la técnica de la encuesta, con el instrumento de 13 ítems agrupadas endos dimensiones. Procedimientos: Los datos serán recolectados en el Programade Control de la Tuberculosis (PCT), en un Centro de Salud de Los Olivos, duranteel periodo de un mes, una vez recolectada la información, los datos seránprocesados en el programa estadístico SPSSV26, Análisis estadístico: Seobtendrán tablas de frecuencia, gráficos, medidas de resumen y tendencia central,además las hipótesis serán contrastadas con la Prueba Estadística de CorrelaciónRho de Spearman, como margen el nivel de significancia estadística de p < 0.05.
