Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge about the use of personal protective equipment and the practices of nursing professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Intensive Care Unit of a National Hospital in Lima, 2022. Methodology: It will be hypothetical, deductive, quantitative approach, applied type, population 30 nurses selected through inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection method: Variable knowledge about the use of PPE, research techniques, is the survey on the use of PPE in the context of COVID-19 consists of 12 items evaluating 3 dimensions, the value is 0.837. Variable practices on the use of PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic, method is observation and the tool is the checklist for the use of PPE in the context of COVID-19 consists of 33 items. Cronbach's Alpha has a value of 0.92 for the three quantities. Data processing will be a subsequent month of survey to nurses of the ICU of the National Hospital of Lima. SPSS Version 26.0 of the Statistical Program, Statistical Analysis, the study hypotheses were compared the statistical test of Spearman's Rho correlation, with a level of statistical significance of p < 0.05.
Resumen
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el conocimiento sobre el uso de equipo de protección personal y las prácticas del Enfermería durante la pandemia del COVID-19 en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de un Hospital Nacional de Lima, 2022 Metodología: Será hipotético, deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada, población 30 enfermeras seleccionadas mediante los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Método de recolección de datos: Variable conocimiento sobre el uso de EPP, técnicas de investigación, es la encuesta sobre el uso de EPP en el contexto del COVID-19 consta de 12 ítems evaluando 3 dimensiones, el valor es 0.837. Variable prácticas sobre el uso de EPP durante la pandemia de COVID-19, método es la observación y la herramienta es la lista de verificación para el uso de EPP en el contexto de COVID-19 consta de 33 items. El Alfa de Cronbach tiene un valor de 0,92 para las tres cantidades. Procesamiento de datos será un mes posterior de encuesta a enfermeras de la UCI del Hospital Nacional de Lima. SPSS Versión 26.0 del Programa Estadístico, Análisis Estadístico, se compararon las hipótesis de estudio la prueba estadística de correlación Rho de Spearman, con un nivel de significación estadística de p < 0,05.
