Resumen
Identify the association between knowledge and practice regarding the management of injury as a result of pressure in the elderly cared for by nurses. Methodology: The type of research will correspond to the applied one, the approach to be addressed will be quantitative, and the proposed design will be observational, with a scope called correlational. Population and Sample: The sample to be treated will correspond to 60 older adult patients, who will be determined by means of the non-probabilistic method for the convenience of the researcher. The respective psychometric tools will be applied to said sample in the period from December 2022. Technique and Instruments: The technique to be applied will be the survey and the respective psychometric tools correspond to the questionnaires Knowledge of Nursing Personnel in Prevention and Management of LLP, and the Questionnaire to Assess Nursing Care in Patients with LPP, which have a reliability determined by Kuder Richardson 0.69, and Cronbach's Alpha 0.87 respectively. Data processing and analysis: The collected records will be recorded in a digital Excel template for classification and verification, this data will be processed, and the link or association between the variables treated in the research will be established, through the statistical test called Chi Square because the study has qualitative variables.
Resumen
Identificar la asociación entre el conocimiento y la práctica respecto del manejo de la lesión a consecuencia de la presión en el geronto atendido por enfermeros. Metodología: El tipo de investigación corresponderá a la aplicada, el enfoque a abordar será el cuantitativo, y el diseño planteado será observacional, con alcance denominado correlacional. Población y Muestra: la muestra a tratar corresponderá a 60 pacientes adultos mayores, los que serán determinados por medio del método no probabilístico por conveniencia de la investigadora, A dicha muestra se le aplicará las herramientas psicométricas respectivas en periodo comprendido de diciembre del 2022. Técnica e Instrumentos: la técnica a aplicarse será la encuesta y las herramientas psicométricas respectivas corresponden a los cuestionarios Conocimientos del Personal de Enfermería en Prevención y Manejo de LLP, y el Cuestionario para Valorar Cuidados Enfermeros en Pacientes con LPP, los mismos que cuentan con una confiabilidad determinada por Kuder Richardson 0.69, y Alfa de Cronbach 0,87 respectivamente. Procesamiento y análisis de datos: Los registros relevados estarán consignados en una plantilla digital de Excel para su clasificación y verificación, siendo esta data procesada, y se establecerá el vínculo u asociación existente entre las variables tratadas en la investigación, por intermedio de la prueba estadística denominada Chi Cuadrado por contar el estudio con variables cualitativas.
