Work overload and psychological well-being of nursing staff in the adult emergency area of a hospital in Lima 2023

Resumen
The present research will have the general objective of determining the relationship between work overload and the psychological well-being of nursing staff who work in the adult emergency area of the Edgardo Rebagliati Martins hospital, Lima 2023. The study method used is hypothetical deductive of the applied type of non-experimental cross-sectional design . The population the object of study will be made up of 80 nurses (100%) who work in the adult emergency service. For data collection, the survey technique will be used; using the "Work overload measurement instrument" through reliability analysis using Kuder Richardson's K-R 20 coefficient, reaching a reliability value of 0.92, and “the Instrument for measuring psychological well-being - Ryff scale" obtained an internal consistency index of Cronbach's alpha of 0.71 and 0.83, indicating that the instrument is reliable. In turn, the relevant statistical tests will be applied to confirm the hypothesis. For the processing and subsequent analysis of the data obtained in the study, the SSPS statistic program will be used in its version 26 and the Microsoft Excel software for the presentation of statistical tables.
Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tendrá como objetivo general Determinar la relación que existe entre la sobrecarga laboral y el bienestar psicológico del personal de enfermería que labora en el área de emergencia en un hospital de Lima 2023. El método de estudio empleado es hipotético deductivo de tipo aplicada de diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población estará conformada por 80 enfermeras (os) (100%) que laboran en el servicio de emergencia adulto. Para la recopilación de datos se utilizará la técnica la encuesta; utilizando el “Instrumento de medición de sobrecarga laboral“ mediante análisis de confiabilidad utilizando el coeficiente K-R 20 de Kuder Richardson, alcanzando un valor de confiabilidad 0.92, y el “Instrumento de medición de bienestar psicológico -escala de Ryff“ obtuvo un índice de consistencia interna de alfa de Cronbach de 0,71 y 0,83, lo que indica que el instrumento es fiable. A su vez se aplicará las pruebas estadísticas rho de Spearman para confirmar la correlación de las variables. Para el procesamiento y posterior análisis de los datos obtenidos en el estudio se utilizará el programa SSPS statistic en su versión 26 y el software Microsoft Excel para la presentación de cuadros estadísticos
