The research aims to determine the relationship between Phubbing and interpersonal relationships in high school students of the "San Alberto Magno" educational institution of Moniquirá-Boyacá. The content of the thesis is based on two variables: Phubbing and interpersonal relationships in students. The research is of correlational type, as means for the collection of information were used, 2 questionnaires and direct observation to 72 students whose ages oscillate between the 11 and 17 years; SPSS Statistics version 22.1 was used to organize and process data. When developing the research it was found that 68.10% of students with high level of Phubbing has a low level of interpersonal relationships, as far as the use of the cell phone was found that 65.3% who have a high level of use of This device has a low level in interpersonal relationships; Therefore, with the following investigation we can conclude that there is a high negative correlation between the pubbing and the interpersonal relationships of the students determined by the Spearman Rho test = -, 708 and a P-value = 0.00; The above indicates that there is a great impact on social relations due to the use of digital devices, this situation generates social problems related to: communication, physical contact between students, conversations face to face; And at the same time transgress essential elements for communication.
Resumen
La investigación tiene como finalidad determinar cuál es la relación entre el Phubbing y las relaciones interpersonales en los estudiantes de secundaria de la institución educativa “San Alberto Magno” de Moniquirá-Boyacá, El contenido de la tesis fue elaborada en base a dos variables: el Phubbing y las relaciones interpersonales en los estudiantes. La investigación es de tipo correlacional, como medios para la recolección de información se utilizaron, 2 cuestionarios y la observación directa a 72 estudiantes cuyas edades oscilan entre los 11 y 17 años; para organizar y procesar los datos se utilizó la herramienta informática SPSS Statistics versión 22.1. Al desarrollar la investigación se comprobó que el 68,10% de los estudiantes con nivel alto de Phubbing tiene un bajo nivel de relaciones interpersonales, en cuanto al uso del celular se encontró que el 65,3% que tienen un alto nivel de uso de este dispositivo tienen un nivel bajo en las relaciones interpersonales; Por tanto, con la siguiente investigación se puede concluir que existe una alta correlación negativa entre el Phubbing y las relaciones interpersonales de los estudiantes determinado por la prueba Rho de Spearman = -,708 y un P-valor =0,00; lo anterior indica que existe un gran impacto en las relaciones sociales debido al uso de dispositivos digitales, esta situación genera problemas sociales relacionados con: la comunicación, el contacto físico entre los estudiantes, las conversaciones frente a frente; y a la vez se transgreden elementos esenciales para la comunicación.
