Resumen
The objective of this work is to determine the relationship that exists between the level of nursing information in the preoperative period and anxiety in the surgical patient in a Public Hospital in Lima 2023. The research methodology to be used will include a quantitative approach, a hypothetical method - deductive, applied type, non-experimental design, cross section and correlational level considering a population of 220 scheduled surgical patients and a sample of 140 patients to whom a questionnaire by Sandoval and Paco (2019) will be applied for preoperative information and the Zung scale ( 1971) for anxiety, both instruments validated with 90% agreement through expert judgment and reliable with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.929 and 0.897 respectively. The results will be given after their statistical processing with the preparation of contingency tables to establish the relationship according to the objectives set and hypothesis verification for the contracting of hypotheses. The processing will include the elaboration of a matrix table that contains the collected data quantified through the use of codes according to the assigned value, said database will serve for the elaboration of tables and graphs as part of the results and respond to the objectives. The construction of the database will be carried out initially in Excel 2016, also the statistical package SPSS version 26 will be used to prepare contingency tables and establish the relationship between the variables, likewise, the hypotheses raised will be contrasted using parametric or non-parametric tests such as part of the inferential statistics according to obtaining the normality of the results.
Resumen
La metodología de investigación a usar incluirá un enfoque cuantitativo, método hipotético – deductivo, tipo aplicada, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional considerando una población de 220 pacientes quirúrgicos programados y una muestra de 140 pacientes a quienes se les aplicará un cuestionario de Sandoval y Paco (2019) para información preoperatoria y escala de Zung (1971) para la ansiedad, ambos instrumentos validados con 90% de concordancia a través de juicio de expertos y confiables con valores de Alfa de cronbach de 0.929 y 0.897 respectivamente. Los resultados se darán luego de su procesamiento estadístico con elaboración de tablas de contingencia para establecer la relación según objetivos planteados y comprobación de hipótesis para la contratación de hipótesis. El procesamiento incluirá la elaboración de una tabla matriz que contiene los datos recolectados cuantificados a través del uso de códigos según el valor asignado, dicha base de datos servirá para la elaboración de tablas y gráficos como parte de los resultados y respondan a los objetivos. La construcción de la base de datos se realizará inicialmente en Excel 2016, asimismo se utilizará el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 26 para elaborar tablas de contingencia y establecer la relación entre las variables, asimismo, se contrastarán las hipótesis planteadas utilizando pruebas paramétricas o no paramétricas como parte de la estadística inferencial de acuerdo a la obtención de la normalidad de los resultados.
