One of the most exposed professions is nursing and in the context of the pandemic this has had a highly negative impact. Due to this, it is essential that all professionals show and implement coping strategies to avoid damaging their mental health in the development of their work. in the COVID-19 context. Objective: Determine the relationship between stress and coping strategies in the nursing staff of the COVID area of a Hospital in Lima Norte, 2022. Material. Method: The study is quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive correlational with cross section. The population is made up of a total of 75 nurses who work in the COVID-19 areas of a Hospital in Lima Norte. To measure the level of stress in these professionals, the nursing stress scale will be used with validity of 0.97 and reliability of 98%. To assess coping strategies, the COPE questionnaire will be used with a validity of 1.0 and a reliability of 0.743. The instruments will be applied virtually, with informed consent. Descriptive and correlational statistical analysis will be carried out.
Resumen
Una de las profesiones más expuestas es enfermería y en el contexto de pandemia esto ha tenido un impacto altamente negativo, debido a ello, es imprescindible que todos los profesionales muestren e implementen estrategias de afrontamiento para evitar dañar su salud mental en el desarrollo de sus labores en el contexto COVID-19. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estrés y las estrategias de afrontamiento en el personal de enfermería del área COVID de un Hospital de Lima Norte, 2022. Material. Método: El estudio es de cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo correlacional con corte transversal. La población esta constituida por un total de 75 enfermeros que trabajan en las áreas COVID-19 de un Hospital de Lima Norte. Para medir el nivel de estrés en estos profesionales se usará la escala de estrés en enfermería con validez 0.97 y confiabilidad de 98%. Para la valoración de las estrategias de afrontamiento se hará uso del cuestionario COPE con una validez de 1.0 y una confiabilidad de 0.743. Los instrumentos serán aplicados vía virtual, con el consentimiento informado. Se efectuará el análisis estadístico descriptivo y correlacional.
