In recent times, stress at work is a phenomenon that has regained special significance in health professionals and particularly in the nursing profession. Knowing its possible implications in the performance of their daily care tasks is of interest. for the profession and even more so for the emergency services. Objective: Determine the relationship between work stress and the performance of nurses in the emergency service of a Hospital II, Lima – 2021. Methods: The research will be applied, with a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, relational and cross-sectional approach. The survey and observation technique will be applied with validated and reliable instruments to measure work stress through the questionnaire “The nursing stress scale” translated into Spanish by Escribà et al. and the observation guide to evaluate nursing performance prepared by the Ministry of Health. The data will be analyzed using the Speraman correlation coefficient statistical test.
Resumen
En estos últimos tiempos, el estrés en el trabajo es un fenómeno que ha recobrado especial significancia en los profesionales de la salud y en particular en el gremio de los enfermeros, conocer sus posibles implicancias en el desempeño de sus labores de cuidado cotidiano son de interés para la profesión y más aún para los servicios de emergencia. Objetivo: Determinar la relación del estrés laboral con el desempeño del enfermero en el servicio de emergencia de un Hospital II, Lima – 2021. Métodos: La investigación será de tipo aplicada, con enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental descriptivo, relacional y de corte transversal. Se aplicará la técnica de la encuesta y la observación con los instrumentos validados y confiables para medir el estrés laboral por medio del cuestionario “The nursing stress scale” traducida al español por Escribà et al. y la guía de observación para evaluar el desempeño de la enfermera elaborado por el Ministerio de Salud. Los datos se analizarán mediante la prueba estadística del coeficiente de correlación de Speraman.
