It has a quantitative, applied and non-experimental methodology applied to 100 students, with which the following results are available. It is evident that, within the general data of the application of the survey to nursing students, 79% of the participants belong to the female gender, 21% to the male gender. Finally, young people aged 25 or over only correspond to 25% of the participating population. Likewise, it is evident that academic anxiety is at a high level in 59%. Likewise, it is observed that the commitment of students is high at 65%, likewise, it is identified that the relationship between the State Anxiety dimension of Academic Anxiety with academic commitment in Nursing students is positive (Rho= 0.771) and statistically significant, with a significance value calculated from p=0.000 < 0.05”). The method was hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, applied type research, correlational design, its population was 123 students and its sample consisted of 93 students. The technique for data collection was the survey, while the instrument was the questionnaire. To measure academic stress, the SISCO Inventory devised by Arturo Barraza and validated in Peru by Soledad Sullca in 2020 was chosen. For its part, anxiety has been measured with the Anxiety Assessment Scale whose authorship corresponds to C. Spielberg with validation for the Peruvian context by Chambi and Flores in the year 2022. Finally, with the statistical analysis, the frequency distribution, the normality test and the contrasting of hypotheses will be known. In the descriptive statistics, tables and frequency figures will be elaborated with the results. Inferential statistics will be used to calculate parameters and test population hypotheses. Once verified, the data will be entered into the SPSS application for analysis and interpretation. Methodology: The method was hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, applied type research, correlational design. The population was 123 students and the sample consisted of 93 nursing students. The technique for data collection was the survey, while the instrument was the questionnaire. To measure academic stress, the SISCO SV- 21 Inventory devised by Arturo Barraza and validated in Peru by Sullca in 2020 was chosen. For its part, anxiety has been measured with the Anxiety Assessment Scale whose authorship corresponds to C Spielberg with validation for the Peruvian context by Chambi and Flores in the year 2022. The data matrix will be processed with SPSS software version 26.0. Finally, with the descriptive statistical analysis we will have the frequencies of the variables and their dimensions, and with the inferential analysis the Spearman's R correlation test will be applied. The results showed that academic stress and anxiety in students of the tenth cycle presented moderate stress with moderate anxiety in 36.6%; in the dimension stressors of academic stress with anxiety there is moderate stress with moderate anxiety in 31.2; in the dimension symptoms of academic stress with anxiety presented moderate stress with moderate anxiety in 34.4%; and in the dimension coping strategies of academic stress with anxiety presented moderate stress and moderate anxiety in 29.0%. It was concluded that academic stress presents a negative correlation (Rho= -.090) and (Sig. = .393) with anxiety in tenth cycle nursing students of a private university in Lima, that is, there is no statistically significant relationship.Ítem Acceso abierto Academic stress and fear of contracting coronavirus in university students of the ninth cycle EAP of Nursing Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener - 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-29) Damas Quispe, Vanesa Lesly; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: To determine the level of academic stress and fear of contracting coronavirus in ninth-cycle university students from the Nursing School - Norbert Wiener Private University – 2021. Materials and Methods: The inductive-deductive method was used for this basic research, which has a quantitative approach and a descriptive design. The SISCO academic stress instrument by Barraza, adapted by Alania, Llancari, Rafaele, and Ortega (2020), was applied. This instrument consisted of 47 items and three dimensions (stressors, symptoms, coping strategies), with a reliability of 0.88 in Cronbach's alpha. Additionally, the Fear of COVID-19 Scale (FCV-19S) by Ahorsu (2020), composed of 7 items and two dimensions (emotional fear reactions and fear expressions), was used. Regarding the main problem, it was observed that the academic stress variable had 64.29% representing a medium level, while the fear of contracting coronavirus variable showed 78.6%, representing a high level. The objective was to determine whether there is a significant relationship between academic stress and procrastination in students of the ninth cycle of Nursing at Norbert Wiener University, Lima, 2021. It is an applied research study, using the hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative approach. The research was descriptive-theoretical or pure, and a correlational design was used, with a sample of 53 ninth-cycle nursing students. The academic stress inventory and the SISCO procrastination scale were used for evaluation. Spearman's Rho statistic was applied for data analysis. According to the findings on academic stress, 26 students (49% of the class) from the ninth cycle of nursing at Norbert Wiener University experience moderate academic stress; 20 students (38%) show moderately low academic stress, and 2 students (4%) have moderately high academic stress. Regarding procrastination, 25 students (47%) show moderately high procrastination; 22 students (42%) have high procrastination, and 5 students (9%) present moderate procrastination. Materials and methods: of quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational level. The method used was hypothetical deductive. The population was made up of 95 nursing interns from a private university, Lima 2023, during the month of May 2023. The sample was census. The type of test was non-probabilistic, intentional. Results: the average age was 30.6 years. Regarding gender, 89.4% were female. Regarding marital status, 51.6% (n=49) were single. 88.4% (n=84) do work. Academic stress was low in 70.5%(n=67). Resilience was high in 63.2%(n=60). There was a significant relationship between academic stress and resilience (p=0.000), stressors dimension (p=0.08), symptoms dimension (p value=0.000) and coping strategies dimension (p=0.000). Regarding the methodology, a study of the hypothetical deductive method was developed, with a quantitative approach, of an applied, non-experimental type, of a descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional scope; in a sample made up of 112 participants; The instruments that allowed data collection were two questionnaires. The first was the SISCO Inventory, which measures academic stress; and the second was the Wagnild and Young Resilience scale. According to the results; Regarding academic stress, a severe level of stress was found in the students in 74.1% of the respondents, likewise 82.1% of the participants reached a level of resilience. It was possible to identify that there is a relationship between the stressor dimension and resilience, finding statistical significance (p=0.016) and rho=0.228; there is a relationship between the stress symptoms dimension and resilience, through statistical significance (p=0.005) and rho=0.265; there is a relationship between the coping strategies dimension and resilience, through statistical significance (p=0.000) and rho=0.471. The hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied, cross-sectional method was applied. and correlational level. The population was made up of 80 nursing students from the eighth cycle of a private university in Lima. The technique was the survey, the instrument applied was the SISCO SV Inventory of academic stress and the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (ICSP). The statistical results showed that there is no significant relationship between the academic stress variable and sleep quality (p=0.294) and they are related in a minimal negative way (Rho = -0.117). The decision is made not to reject the null hypothesis and not to accept the alternative hypothesis. It was concluded that stress is not related to sleep quality in nursing students at a private university in Lima. Methods: study with a quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional approach. The population was 165 nursing students from the first cycle 2020 I, no statistical formula was used for the sample because we worked with 38% of the population, which is equivalent to 62 students selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the study. . The instrument used was the SISCO Inventory structured by 23 items and has a reliability of 0.933 in Cronbach's alpha. Results: the level of academic stress was 9.7% mild stress, 22.6% severe stress and 67.7% moderate stress. The stressor dimension was the overload of tasks and jobs with a mean of 3.84, the symptom dimension was chronic fatigue with a mean of 3.13 and the major coping strategy used was to analyze the positive and negative of the solutions designed with an average of 4.00. Para tal fin, se planteó una investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, corte transversal, tipo básico y nivel correlacional; para ello, se empleó una muestra de 185 estudiantes varones y mujeres de primero a quinto de secundaria de una institución educativa pública; a quienes se les encuestó mediante el Cuestionario de agresividad de Buss y Perry (AQ) e Inventario de estrés académico (SISCO-SV21). En relación a los resultados, se evidenció que la agresividad y el estrés académico presentan una correlación significativa positiva moderada (r=0.53; p<0.05); del mismo modo, la agresividad se correlacionó con las dimensiones: estresores (r=0.41; p<0.05), síntomas (r=0.52; p<0.05), pero no con las estrategias de afrontamiento (r=0.01; p>0.05). Se concluyó que la presencia de una mayor agresividad en el entorno escolar, desencadenará un mayor estrés académico en los estudiantes adolescentes.Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis psicométrico de la Escala de Percepción Global del Estrés en personal de salud de una red integral de salud en Lima sur, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-04-07) Carrera Rodríguez, Sol Alejandra; Valencia Pecho, Diego IsmaelEl propósito de esta investigación fue determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Percepción Global del Estrés (EPGE) en profesionales de la salud pertenecientes a una red integral de salud de Lima Sur. Fue de tipo psicométrica, con diseño no experimental. Se encuestó a 202 profesionales de ambos sexos, entre los 20 y 65 años de edad. El instrumento utilizado fue la EPGE de Cohen et al. (1983), que consta de 13 ítems en la versión adaptada al Perú. Los hallazgos fueron los siguientes: Se determinó la validez basada en el contenido por medio del criterio de jueces, obteniendo unanimidad en la permanencia de los ítems. Además, se estableció la validez basada en la estructura interna por medio de un análisis factorial exploratorio y confirmatorio, cuya robustez de los índices de ajuste reflejó que la escala es capaz de captar de manera precisa la complejidad inherente al fenómeno del estrés percibido. A su vez, la confiabilidad se demostró a través del coeficiente alfa de Cronbach (.810) y el coeficiente Omega de McDonald (.840), lo cual se considera como satisfactorio. Después de esto, se determinó que el instrumento mantiene las propiedades psicométricas apropiadas, tanto en términos de validez como de fiabilidad, lo que lo convierte en el uso ideal en la población estudiada.Publicación Acceso abierto Ansiedad y estrés en médicos que trabajan en el servicio de emergencia y el nivel de satisfacción de los usuarios en el Hospital III Suarez Angamos de EsSalud Lima 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-03-29) Vallejos Torres, Roberto; Saavedra Velasco, Marcos JoséObjetivo general: Determinar la relación entre los niveles de ansiedad y estrés en médicos que trabajan en el servicio de emergencia y el nivel de satisfacción de los usuarios en el hospital III Suarez Angamos de Essalud Lima 2024. Metodología: Método hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación básico, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 110 médicos y 110 usuarios, los instrumentos aplicados fueron la Escala DASS- 21 y el cuestionario SERVQUAL modificado validado por juicio de expertos. El análisis estadístico fue mediante el chi cuadrado considerando un IC del 95%. Resultados: El 92.7% de médicos no presentaron estrés y el 63.9% no presentó ansiedad y el 20.9% ansiedad leve. El 25.5% de los usuarios manifestaron insatisfacción, el 70.9% niveles neutrales y el 4.0% se encontraban satisfechos. En la relación de estrés y satisfacción, se obtuvo un Chi2 de 1.600 y un p valor de 0.357, por otro lado, en la ansiedad y satisfacción, el Chi2 fue de 15.616 y un p valor de 0.048, siendo significativo. Methods: The hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied research, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional approach will be used; likewise, 60 preoperative patients will participate as population. For data collection the survey will be applied as a technique and for the instruments will be two questionnaires, namely: Inventory of Trait-State Anxiety (IDARE) composed of 20 items grouped in two dimensions: positive symptoms and negative symptoms and the COPE - Brief Stress Coping Styles Questionnaire composed of 28 questions grouped in three dimensions: task-directed coping styles, social and emotional coping styles and avoidant coping styles; having both instruments previously validated. The correlation between both variables will be measured by the correlation coefficient of the Chi-square statistical test for nominal scales.Publicación Acceso abierto Asociación del estrés académico y presencia de bruxismo en estudiantes de odontología de 8vo y 9no ciclo de la Universidad Norbert Wiener(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-12-07) Escudero Quezada, Danitsa Daine; Vílchez Bellido, DinaIntroducción: El estrés académico puede afectar a los estudiantes de odontología con manifestaciones como el bruxismo. Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre el estrés académico y la presencia de bruxismo en los estudiantes de odontología de 8vo y 9no ciclo de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Lima 2023. Material y métodos: El diseño fue no experimental-observacional, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 143 estudiantes de odontología, a quienes se les solicitó el consentimiento informado y se aplicó una encuesta consistente en dos cuestionarios el Inventario Sisco para determinar estrés académico y el Test de Autorreporte de detección de trastornos temporomandibulares para evaluar el bruxismo. Los datos fueron evaluados estadísticamente con el Coeficiente de Rho de Spearman para establecer la correlación entre variables, con un nivel de significancia de p<0.05. Resultados: Existe una asociación estadísticamente significativa entre el nivel de estrés académico y la presencia de bruxismo (p=0.000), con una correlación positiva media (r=0,459); el estrés académico se presentó en todos los estudiantes, en mayores porcentajes en el nivel profundo o severo, en el sexo femenino (58.59%) y masculino (46.30%), y en 8vo (55.00%) y 9no ciclo académico (53.76%). La presencia de bruxismo, en el 48% de los estudiantes, predominó más entre mujeres (75%) que en hombres (25%) tanto en estudiantes de 8vo (42.11%) como 9no ciclo (26.67%). Conclusiones: El estrés académico se asocia a la presencia de bruxismo en los estudiantes de odontología de 8vo y 9no ciclo de la Universidad Norbert Wiener, Lima, Perú 2023-II.
