Nursing professionals who work in the emergency setting assume extremely complex and demanding activities due to the diversity of difficulties they must face due to the shortage of specialized professionals, inadequate conditions for care, insufficient resources and equipment, among other factors that limit the exercise of his work. This, added to the situations of pain, suffering and death that they must attend to as part of their work, exposes them to stress and, therefore, low job satisfaction. Objective: Determine the relationship between stress level and job satisfaction of the nursing professional in the emergency service of a hospital in Lima, 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS: It will be quantitative, non-experimental - transversal and descriptive-correlational. 50 nurses will participate. The technique will be the survey and the instruments selected will be the Nursing Stress Scale to measure the variable level of stress and a job satisfaction questionnaire.
Resumen
Los profesionales enfermeros que laboran en el ámbito de emergencia asumen actividades sumamente complejas y demandantes debido a la diversidad de dificultades que deben afrontar por la escasez de profesionales especializados, las inadecuadas condiciones para la atención, insuficientes recursos y equipos, entre otros factores que limitan el ejercicio de su labor. Ello sumado a las situaciones de dolor, sufrimiento y muerte que deben atender como parte de su labor, los expone a cuadros de estrés y, con ello a una baja satisfacción laboral. Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre nivel de estrés y satisfacción laboral del profesional de enfermería del servicio de emergencia de un hospital de Lima, 2022. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: Será cuantitativo, no experimental - transversal y descriptivo-correlacional. Participarán 50 enfermeras. La técnica será la encuesta y los instrumentos seleccionados la Escala Nursing Stress Scale para realizar la medición de la variable nivel de estrés y un cuestionario de satisfacción laboral.
