Resumen
The development of the study has focused within the specialty of neonatology, specifically on the problems related to the knowledge and practice of breastfeeding in primiparous mothers, since it has been possible to detect that it is not carried out adequately, due to insufficient knowledge regarding its benefits, techniques, care and complications that could arise from wrong practice, putting the well-being, health and even the life of the newborn at risk.
Resumen
El desarrollo del estudio se ha enfocado dentro de la especialidad de neonatología, específicamente en la problemática referida al conocimiento y la práctica de lactancia materna en madres primíparas, pues se ha podido detectar que no se realiza de manera adecuada, debido al insuficiente conocimiento respecto a sus beneficios, técnicas, cuidados y complicaciones que podrían derivarse de una praxis equivocada, poniendo en riesgo el bienestar, salud e incluso la vida del neonato.
