Resumen
The study has a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach, it is non-experimental and correlational. The population will be made up of 80 boys and girls. To calculate the study sample, it was considered necessary to use the simple random probabilistic sampling formula. For data collection, the survey will be used as a technique and as instruments; the first instrument a questionnaire to measure lifestyles; and as a second instrument the body mass index (BMI), of which 48 were found to be overweight and 6 to be obese. Finally, the processing of the information will be carried out using the statistical programs SPSS and Excel, previously the code book will be prepared, a database will be created and finally from this it will be processed obtaining the results that will be presented in graphs and tables. for subsequent analysis and discussion according to the theoretical framework.
Resumen
El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo, de corte transversal, es no experimental y correlacional. La población estará conformada por 80 niños y niñas. Para el cálculo de la muestra de estudio se consideró necesario hacer uso de la fórmula del muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple. Para la recolección de datos se utilizará como técnica la encuesta y como instrumentos; el primer instrumento un cuestionario para medir los estilos de vida; y como segundo instrumento el índice de masa corporal (IMC), de los cuales se encontró 48 con sobrepeso y 6 con obesidad. Finalmente, el procesamiento de la información, se realizará utilizando los programas estadísticos SPSS y Excel, previamente se elaborará el libro de códigos, se creará una base de datos y finalmente a partir de ello se procesará obteniendo los resultados que serán presentados en gráficos y tablas para su posterior análisis y discusión de acuerdo al marco teórico.
