Resumen
The following research aims to determine the relationship between anxiety and depression in older adults with diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure who attend the outpatient clinic of the Clínica Especialidades Médicas, San Borja, Lima 2022. The Method will be quantitative in approach, descriptive type, cross-sectional correlational; The population is made up of 88 older adults, which will be the entire sample. To measure our objectives, the Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI) instrument will be applied to measure the first variable and the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale to measure the second variable. Spearman's parametric Rho correlation test will be used for the results.
Resumen
La siguiente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación de la ansiedad con la depresión en adultos mayores con diabetes mellitus e hipertensión arterial que acuden a la consulta externa de la Clínica Especialidades Médicas, San Borja, Lima 2022. El Método será de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptivo, correlacional de corte transversal; la población está conformada por 88 adultos mayores, la cual será la muestra en su totalidad. Para medir nuestros objetivos se aplicarán el instrumento de la Escala de Ansiedad de Beck (BAI) para medir la primera variable y Escala de Depresión Geriátrica de Yesavage para medir la segunda variable. Para los resultados se utilizará la prueba paramétrica de correlación Rho de Spearman.
